7. Law is use ( presented ) As a conditional covenant of
works especially in the Old Testament.
Under Grace some bible students treat Grace
as if it was a conditional covenant of works.
In this scope it is extended beyond the
actual writings of Mosaic and kingdom law.
This included any attempt on part of the human
race of securing favor with God.
The Jews Had a Law formula “ If you will
do good, I will bless you.” If the Action is performed
with the view of securing favor
with God, instead of being done because one has already
secured favor through Christ.
The Law then becomes purely legal in its character.
8. Law has been introduced as a principle of dependence on the flesh.
The Law provided no enablement for its
observance. Romans 3:20

faith; and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God:
Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should
boast.
Eph 2:10 For we are his workmanship,
created in Christ Jesus unto good works,
which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
