Present Tense Of God's Salvation

 2. Present tense of God's Salvation

Salvation from the reigning power of sin.

Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

Romans 8:1 ¶ There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after

the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

2 Co 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same

image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
Gal 2:19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.
20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I
now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

Php 2:12 ¶ Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more

in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

                      Who worketh in You?

2 Th 2:13 ¶ But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God

hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the
                   truth:
14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word,
                  or our epistle.
16 ¶ Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given
us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
17 Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.

     3. Future Tense.
Says that the believer will yet be saved into full conformity to Christ.
The fact Some aspects of Salvation yet to be accomplished for the believers, does not imply that there is
ground for doubt as to completion to the uttermost. For it not taught anywhere that any feature of Salvation
depends upon the faithfulness of man. God is Faithful and , having begun a good work, will perform it until the
    day of Jesus Christ

Php 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until

               the day of Jesus Christ:
7 ¶ Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both
in  my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.
8 For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.

Bonds was in Prison.

Romans 8:29 ¶ For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son,

that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also
justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

Romans 13:11 ¶ And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our

salvation nearer than when we believed.

1 Peter 1:4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for

                     you,
5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last
                     time.
Here is that pesky everlasting ( fadeth not away )
Here is that pesky Incorruptible Thing
Here is that pesky Faith Thing.
Here is that pesky Believing Thing
Here is that pesky Grace Thing
Here is that pesky Gift Thing     Romans 6:23
Here is that pesky ( Power of God )
God Gets in the way of our beliefs, He doesn't want man to  boast. Eph 2:8-9
Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before

ordained that we should walk in them.
1 John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that,
when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

The Bible ( God's Holy Word ) says Now are we son of God.

It didn't say Was or Will be. It also says Now.
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among
men, whereby we must be saved.
GOD Is GREAT. He is Wonderful.  God Loves us so.
God Is Just. God Is Righteous.

Heb 2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the

               Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
4 God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the
Holy Ghost, according to his own will?
Tit 2:11 ¶ For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

2 Tim 3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto

salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

Besides all of the verses of  35 Faith and 115 Believing, there are many that Use Grace , the Grace of God, or

the Power Of God.  Any way I look at it God Is in Control.
