DEMONS

Presented here are many references some seem to be repeated. This is done so every thing
mention could have a Scriptural basics.
The Bible both the Old and New Testament is basic for all of the Christian Beliefs and Doctrine.

In understanding the Bible, God's Holy words certain rules are used.
The first use of the term or picture. Is it explain in this use?
First use to last use Generally are the same. If not the Word of God usually tells us so.
The beauty of the Bible is that from the first verse of Genesis to the last verse of
Revelation it carries the same theme redemption .
Second go to the original words in Hebrew, Arabic, Or Greek. Look at their meaning at the
time of the writings . Word meanings change over time.
Third they wrote , men of old, God breathed; 2 Peter 1:21; 2 Tim 3:16 - 17, in some of the
books like revelation. They were told to write down what they saw Rev 1:7. In their
             words.
Fourth what was the manners and customs of the time.
Fifth to whom were God having the authors write to and at what time in history.
Sixth who is speaking . Example Gen 3:1 God is not always talking .

DEMONS

Although the Greek daimonia is generally translated "devils" in the KJV, "demons" is correct.
There is only one Devil Gk. dabolos, i.e. Satan.
To the reality and personality of demons the N.T. Scriptures bear abundant testimony.
As to their origin, nothing is clearly revealed.
Matt 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of
heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name?
and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful
                 works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work
                iniquity.
They are not to be confounded with the angels mentioned in 2 Pet.2:4; Jude 6.
See outline on Angels.
   1. Demons are spirits Matt.12:43, 45, Satan's emissaries Matt.12:26 - 27,and so numerous as

However, mental disease is to be distinguished from the disorder of mind due to
       demoniacal control.
   9. The People they control are totally evil and malicious.

 22. One of the awful features of the apocalyptic judgments in which this age will end is an
emergence of demons out of the abyss Rev. 9:1 - 11, 20.

If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour . You are invited to do so.
It is so simple that it becomes very hard for lot of people. Their is nothing that we have to do.
Christ on the cross said it is finished. Eph 2:8-9 say it is not of works lest any
man can boast. Works are what man does.
If you go to a job you work. If you try out for a ball team you have to work at it.
They call it practice, but Lets face it your get tired and sweated that is work.
In baptism it takes work to get into the water, clothes have to be washed, that does
not save or even help Christ said it is finished. Even in the Lord's Supper you have to move
you arms.
The containers have to be washed that takes time and work.
Romans 10:17 Faith cometh by hearing God's word . the Holy Spirit convicting letting you know you are not going to Heaven but to Hell because you are a sinner. Next to simply turn
to Jesus and say Jesus I believe you paid my dept of sin when you died on the Cross.
I believe you rose again the third day.
That you are at the right hand of the God The Father. Thank you Jesus for saving my soul forever.
