God's Remedy for Sin: Salvation

  Introduction:  First One Can notice it is God's Remedy. It is not of Man's or Man's system of belief. Eph 2:8-9
  We must keep in Mind that It is God's Salvation.
   It is God reconciling man to Himself.

 Romans 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more,
                          being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
  2 Cor 5:18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us
                    the ministry of reconciliation;
               19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses
                      unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

   Reconcile == 1. to make friendly again.
                        2. to settle (a quarrel, ect.)
                        3. to make ( facts, ideals, texts, ect.) consistent or compatible.
                        4. to make content or acquiescent (to).

  1. Sin Is sin and is just as sinful whether it is committed by Jew, Gentile (Greek), or Heathen. Whether they
           have Heard the Gospel or have not heard the Gospel.
        Romans 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they
                                 believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

                    Preach ==1. to speak in public on religious matters; give a sermon.
                                    2. to give moral or religious advice, especially in a tiresome manner.
                                    3. to urge or expound as by preaching.
                                    4. to deliver ( a sermon).
                         What were they to heard? The Gospel 1 Cor chapter 15
    Equally Sinful whether performed By either Saved or the souls Not Saved.

   Luke 12:46 KJV The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour
                        when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the
                        unbelievers.
              47 And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his
                   will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
             48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For
                  unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed
                   much, of him they will ask the more.
             49 I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?
             50 But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished!

  Consideration in the judgments upon the sinners is the question of how many or how few stripes.

     2. What can Pay the sin Debt?
         What can Heal the sin sickness of this world?
         How can sin be Cured?
        Who Can pay the sin Debt?
      The shed blood of the Son of God is the only ground that sin can be cured.

          A. The souls of the Old Testament Foresaw, Looked ahead, Envisioned the death of Jesus Christ by
                animal sacrifices  (shedding of blood.) The Animal Sacrifices never took away Sin.
               It is for the souls now to look back by Faith.
                Looked forward to the Cross in Old Testament.
                Looked Back now in Faith to the Cross in the New Testament.

          B.  For forgiveness to be divine it has never been by God, just being merciful, as related to the
                penalty of  sin.
                      Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death;

               God had too have a plan for a substitution that could meet the Holy demands against the sinner.
                To forgive or Pardon the penalty of sin. We are condemned already.

               John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned
                                 already,

                             As you notice I says nothing about joining a church. Nothing is said about being Good. Believing
                         in God's infinitely Finished work. A work that is so perfect and complete it is said to last forever,
                         Eternal, and everlasting.

              Romans 3:9 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both
                                     Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
                               10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
                               11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
                               12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable;
                                     there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

              Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

                         For sin to be Forgiven there must be a substitute that meets God's Divine Requirements.
                   Remember God's Specification not man's Specifications Have to be Meet.

                      The souls of the Old Testament Days, the old order were saved also by faith Looking forward to
                Promise of the Cross. The death,  burial, and resurrection of Christ. The priest offered the atoning
                sacrifice which anticipated the death of Christ. Only after this Blood Sacrifice was made was the
                sinner forgiven. By Faith of the Promised Redeemer.

                 Atonement == the effect of Jesus' sufferings and death in bringing about the reconciliation
                                         of God to man.
                   Webster's New World Dictionary  1971 edition.

               Lev 4:20, 26, 31, 35; 5:10, 13, 16, 18; 6:7; 19:22 Num 15:25-26, 28

           C.  The Same Truth Applies today. We now look back and accept the Finished work Of Jesus Christ.
                  Col 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
                  Eph 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the
                                 riches of his grace;
            D.  Christ Substitutionary work upon the Cross is all Sufficiency. The work is so complete and perfect
                  in both it's work it is infinite, Everlasting, Forever, Never ending goes on and on.
                  The sinner that trust in Christ's work is not only forgiven, but he, the sinner is justified forevery.

                 Romans 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
                                   25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his
                                         righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
                                   26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of
                                         him which believeth in Jesus.
                                   27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of
                                        faith.
                                   28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

                      Justify == 1. to show to be just, right, or reasonable
                                        2. to free from blame or guilt; absolve.
                                        3. to supply good grounds for; warrant.
                                        4. to space (type) so that the lines will be of the correct length.
                                        5. in law , to show adequate reason for something done.
                   Redeem ==1. to get or buy back; recover.
                                       2. to pay off.
                                       3. to convert (paper money) into coin.
                                       4. to turn in ( coupons) for premiums.
                                       5a. to set free; rescue.
                                       5b. to deliver from sin and its penalties.
                                       6. to fulfill as a promise.
                                       7. to make amends for; atone for.
               Propitiate == to win or regain the good will of ; appease or conciliate.

                        Forgiveness imposes no burden on a sinner that has believed in the finish, perfect, all Sufficiency,
                    infinite Work of Christ.

                   1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to
                                         sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
                          Isa 53:4 ¶ Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him
                                              stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
                                            5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities:
                                                 the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
                                            6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way;
                                                 and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
                                            7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth:
                                                he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter,
                                                and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

                    1 Peter 3:18 ¶ For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might
                                             bring  us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

                                [Bible in Basic English] (1 Peter 3:18)
                             ¶ Because Christ once went through pain for sins, the upright one taking the place of sinners,
                                so that through him we might come back to God; being put to death in the flesh, but given
                                life in the Spirit;

    1. As it is noticed we are given life now.
    2. the redeemer had to qualified In God's requirements.
    3. God had to be God doing the saving, Justifying, reconciling, Permanently Atoning, and Propitiation .

     To accept God's Remedy for Sin is to Repent . To change one's mind, body, soul , the heart to realize
  that you are a sinner lost. That God Laid the sin offering at the door. all you have to do is accept it
   and allow Christ to become Lord and Master of your life.

     If you have previously accepted him please pray for someone you know to be saved.
 Pray for the Holy Spirit to give you the power to witness to that person. Put feet on your prayers.

   My prayer is that someone get a Blessing out of this essay.

  Thanks.
