The New Testament Church #1 The Invisible Church

The Bible both the Old and New Testament is basic for all of the Christian Beliefs and Doctrine.
In understanding the Bible God’s words certain rules are used. The first use of the term or picture. Is it explain in this use?
First use to last use Generally are the same. If not the Word of God usually tells us so.
The beauty of the Bible is that from the first verse of Genesis to the last verse of Revelation it carries the same theme redemption.
Second go to the original words in Hebrew, Arabic, Or Greek. Look at their meaning at the time of the writings. Word meanings change over time.
Third they wrote , men of old, God breathed; 2 Peter 1:21; 2 Tim 3:16-17, in some of the books like revelation. They were told to write down what they
saw Rev 1:7. In their words. Fourth what was the manners and customs of the time. Fifth to whom were God having the authors write to and at what time in history. Sixth who is speaking . Example Gen 3:1 God is not always talking

The most misunderstood doctrine is that of the New Testament Church. Why?
There is the true church. The invisible church. Which is made up of past, present, and future saints. They are all saved by the Blood of Jesus Christ. They are bought with a price. Beginning with the advent of the Holy Spirit
on the day of Pentecost and concluding with the coming of Christ For His Church.
Then there is the visible church. The Saints that are alive in the world Today.
Next there is the Local visible or organized church. This church is usually made up of Baptized believers.
This is of the most importance as relating to other doctrines.

The number one question is what gets you into the Kingdom of God?

The Greek word for church ekklesia. Often times it is translated assembly or congregation of people for any reason. The word actually means
“called out ones”.
The Church invisible, visible, Actual, or Ideal is made up also of Jews
And Gentiles.  Romans 3:9

John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him
                  in spirit and in truth.
As one processes in this study you must keep in mind that the book of
Matthew is the book of the King, earthly king with a Heavenly Rule.
 1. Jesus Began to preach that the Kingdom of Heaven was at hand.
     Matt 4:12,17
 2. John the Baptist Started preaching the Kingdom of Heaven before
    Jesus. Matt. 3.2.
     a. the reference to the Kingdom of Heaven refers to the rule of the
heavens, the rule of the God of heaven over the earth.
     b. When compared with the kingdom of God, the kingdom only includes
          men on earth.
    c. The Kingdom of Heaven is good and bad. Mat 13:24 - 52
    d. The Jews rejected the Kingdom .
    e. The Kingdom will be set up again when Christ comes.

12. 1 Cor 1:2 Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that
are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in
every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs
    and ours:
13. The Kingdom of God is the Church. Acts 28:23

We as believers are sanctified ( set apart ). Next notice what the Scripture say in every place. Each one of the believers become a member of the Church of God upon the moment of Salvation by the Holy Spirit.
The writers of the New Testament Books, Letters talked about several aspects churches
     1.  The Invisible church of whose names are written in the Lamb’s book
of Life. This the one we have briefly covered here. Rev 21:27
     2.  The visible church made up of living member on the local church
rolls. Some of these may not be saved.
         Rev 2:14; 2:20; 3:9; 3:15; 1 John 1:6
     3.  Then the real church is alive here, still in this world.
        1 John 2:15 - 23
     4.    Some students of God’s Holy Word talk about the Ideal church.
Departed saints in heaven. Heb 12:23

Every born again believer, the ones that believe with the heart. Each one of us is connected according to the Holy Scripture by the Holy Spirit (Ghost). Acts 2:38; Acts 2:47; Acts 5:14; Acts 11:24
Baptized Christendom is what the world looks like, But Jesus Christ’s Church is another thing all together.

This is the first in a series on the Church. I believe it needs to be broken up. In the scriptures the church is talked about in difference characters or aspect. There is no doubt the we as believers are in the
church age. The nation of Israel the Jews reject The earthly kingdom that
was to be ruled from Heaven.

In Matt Chap. 10, Jesus sends his twelve disciples preaching the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. They reject that Gospel. Christ begin in Matt. 16:18 a new message begins. Romans 2:9 - 11.
God had promised to come to the Jews First. He will still set up their Kingdom. Matt 24:29 – 25:46; Acts 15:14 – 17.

The Church of God refers to the whole of the redeemed that will and has been saved in this present age.
  1. Born again John 3:5.
  2. Are no longer under Adam's sin, the old creation. 2 Cor. 5:17
  3. Will be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ. Romans 8:29
  4. Are citizens of Heaven. Phil 3:20; Col 3:3
  5. They are neither Jew or Gentile. Col 3:11
  6. The Saved ones united to Christ by the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
    1 Cor. 12:13
  7. God is about the gathering of His church. It is coming in a day when
it will be complete. Eph 4:10 - 16

If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour. You are invited to do so.
It is so simple that it becomes very hard for lot of people. Their is nothing that we have to do. Christ on the cross said it is finished.
Eph 2:8-9 says it is not of works lest any man can boast. Works are what man does. If you go to a job you work. If you try out for a ball team you have
to work at it. They call it practice, but lets face it your get tired and sweated that is work.
In baptism it takes work to get into the water, clothes have to be washed that does not save or even help. Christ said it is finished. Even in the Lord’s Supper you have to move you arms. The containers have to be
washed that takes time and work.
Romans 10:17 Faith cometh by hearing God’s word. The Holy Spirit convicting letting you know you are not going to Heaven but to Hell because you are a sinner. Next to simply turn to Jesus and say Jesus I believe you paid my debt of sin when you died on the Cross. I believe you rose again the third day.
That you are at the right hand of the God The Father. Thank you Jesus for saving my soul for every.
