In this series of Notes are 85 Verses that purport to say Salvation is conditional. I feel it is worthy to take a look
at the verses in illumination of the rules of interpretation of God’s word.

First, the English Speaking world only has God’s Word translated From the original Greek, Aramaic, and  Hebrew.

Therefore God’s Word is important, our faith hangs on what it says. We then as believer’s had better be sure in
  what it says.
One Key is the Bible should paint the same picture in the Old Testament as the New Testament.
In our studies we use several commentaries, our most favorite is the use of several translation of God’s word.
They plus the customs of the time a book of the bible was written help us to understand God’s Word.

KJV is only a version of God's Word that has been translation into the English language of it's time of translation.
God's word is God's Word. We can not change the original God breathed Word.
           Young's Literal Translation 2 Timothy 3:16
every Writing is God-breathed, and profitable for teaching, for conviction, for setting aright, for instruction that is in righteousness,
God's Word is everlasting.  Psalm 119:89,152; Isa 40:8; Mat 5:18;Mat 24:35;1Peter 1:25.
We know that God's word is not for Private interpretation. 2 Peter 1:20-21.
The Word of God is Divinely Inspired. Jer 36:2; Eze 1:3; Acts 1:16;Acts 28:25; 2Tim 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21;
   Rev 1:1; Rev 14:3
Therefore God's word Can not be changed it is written down and hide in the hearts. We can not changed it to say
what we want it to say. Many are scared to read another translation and commentaries they might be enlightened
on God's word. Are the people that fail to let God enlighten them scared to see what God's word says?
God's Message can stand the test of Time. The Devil ( or the world controlled by Satan ) is constantly changing the
meaning of words.
Why worship material things? The Christian Faith is like it says by Faith. Do we worship a certain version of the
bible?

Are we going to open up And receive a blessing from God?

"Thanks for inviting me to go to church with you next Sunday, Uncle Al."
Tim and his uncle were on their way to Bonny Lake. They had heard the
fishing there was great. "I . .. . I don't want to hurt your feelings,"
continued Tim, "but . . . well . . . I'm not sure I want to get into this
religious stuff. Besides, Mom and Dad don't think it's a good idea."
"Oh?" asked Uncle Al in surprise. "I thought you said that your parents
wouldn't mind if you went with me. You sounded quite interested last week.
You even said the Gospel was beginning to make sense to you."

"Yeah, but since then I've done a lot of thinking," Tim said slowly. "I
don't think I feel like getting 'saved' right now. The crowd I hang around
with at school wouldn't understand, and I like being with them. Someday I'll
start going to church, but I think I'll just go on the way I am for a while.
I know I'm not perfect, but I'm not so bad, either."

Tim's uncle drove on silently for a few minutes. "Oh, no!" he exclaimed as
they passed a road sign. "I was so intent on our conversation that I missed
the turnoff! We should have gotten off this road five miles back!"
"Guess we'll have to turn around and go back now, huh?" asked Tim.
But Uncle Al shook his head. "I don't feel like turning around right now,"
he said. "I guess we'll just keep going this way. I kind of like this road,
and the scenery is nice."

Tim looked at his uncle in amazement. "But we have to turn around to get to
Bonny Lake," he protested, "and the longer we keep going this way, the
longer it will take to get back. If we wait too long to turn around, we
might not even get there in time to fish."

Uncle Al smiled at Tim as he slowed down for the next turn. "You're right,"
he said, "and what you said just now is exactly what I've been trying to
tell you about spiritual life . . . that when you're traveling down the
wrong road, the sooner you turn around, the better. If you wait too long,
you might never get to your goal: Heaven."

2Peter 1:20 KJV Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

2Tim 3:16 KJV All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction,
                           for instruction in righteousness:
2Tim 3:17 KJV That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

In this study we are using The King James Version And the New International Version.

2Cor 1:12 KJV For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly
sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our
conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.
2Cor 1:12 NIV Now this is our boast: Our conscience testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the
world, and especially in our relations with you, in the holiness and sincerity that are from
God. We have done so not according to worldly wisdom but according to God's grace.
                           Facts:
                                1. Paul, a man selected by Jesus to carry the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, was having
to preserve his reputation. Here, a man who had given up  everything for the distribution of
the Gospel. He even put his life in harms way.
                                2. He had intended to visit the Church at Corinth but deferred his journey because of the
                                    troubles within the Corinth Church.
                                3. An individual of God has to always have a positive attitude. The Preacher, Pastor, or Teacher
needs our vocal support. They need to hear that they are supported.
When they touch on a point one can concur with they need to hear your amen.
Anyone that is spreading the Word of Christ as saviour needs our Prayers and finical
support. There are tithes and there are donations( Offerings ).
                                 4. By the Grace of God the believer is to behave themselves in the world and more so to
                                     one another.
                                 5. Paul was a man that existed only for the furtherance of the Gospel of Christ.
                                          Gospel 1 Cor 15:1-34.
The apostle was put in Prison for preaching the truth.
                                 6. He was as forever rejoicing in the good conscience and simplicity  of genuineness  in doing
God’s work of scattering the Gospel to a No-Jewish world.
God performed this work through Paul allowing the Holy Spirit Guide him.
God is capable of employing anyone the same as He did Paul. Be guided by the Spirit as Paul
was and not directed by the Flesh.
                                 7. Workers for the cause of Jesus Christ have a burden to act Christ like, WWJD

Acts 11:26 KJV And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass,
that a whole year they  assembled themselves with the church, and taught much  people.
And the disciples were called Christians  first in Antioch.
                                  8. The apostle had previously spent eighteen months with them. Acts 8:11.
The Corinthians experienced his character and integrity ( truthfulness ).

2Cor 1:13 KJV For we write none other things unto you, than what ye read or acknowledge;
                           and I trust ye shall acknowledge even to the end;
2Cor 1:13 NIV For we do not write you anything you cannot read or understand. And I hope that,
                           Facts:
                                    1. Paul had not altered his Preaching as the False Prophets would have the believer’s
accept as true. 1 Cor 1:17-18;1:21-25;1 Cor 2:1;1
                                    2. All christian ought live as a result of the Gospel.
                                      1 Cor 9:12-14;1 Cor 15:1; Cp Gal 3:13-14.
                                     3. Many of this age are blinded. 2 Cor 4:4.
2Cor 4:4 KJV In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them  which believe not,
lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ,  who is the image of God,
                                                                                      should shine unto them.
2Cor 4:4 NIV The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers,  so that they cannot see the
light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
5         For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord,  and ourselves as your
                                                                                 servants for Jesus' sake.
                                      4.  There will constantly be False Prophets. Gal 1:6-11.
Gal 1:8 NIV But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we
preached to you, let him be eternally condemned!
9     As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel
other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned!
                                       5.  Paul knew some weren’t true believers. Some were carnal and couldn’t see the things
Paul was doing and preaching, were of God. 1 Cor 2:10,14.
A true believer would acknowledge God’s work to the end
                                       6. The Corinthian believers knowing Paul’s past could trust what he writes.

2Cor 1:14 KJV As also ye have acknowledged us in part, that we are your rejoicing,
even as ye also are ours in the day of the Lord Jesus.
2Cor 1:14 NIV as you have understood us in part, you will come to understand fully that
you can boast of us just as we will boast of you in the day of the Lord Jesus.
                   Facts:
                               1. Paul’s hope was that the People might be of joy when he came. If a saved person is truly saved,
there should only be joy in their hearts. A believer is liberated from this world.
They may reside in this world but a christian is not of this world.
                                   1 John 2:15-17.
1 John 2:15 NIV Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world,
the love of the Father is not in him.
16        For everything in the world--the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes
and the boasting of what he has and does—comes not from the Father but from the world.
17      The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.
                              2.  A believer doesn’t agonize ( lose Sleep ) concerning the things of this world.
Know a Christian should Plan and pay bills. In some matters we should put our feet in the water
as Joshua did. Call stepping out on faith. Few Churches Do this nowadays.
                              3.  Are you prepared for the Day of The Lord Jesus Christ? 2 Tim 4:8.
This is the rapture. Beside the believer’s being pull out of the world, it is connected to the
reward and blessing of the church. The Church is made up of Believers indwelt by the
Holy Spirit. Some have gone ahead.
This again is only for believers, Are you a believer in the over and done with work of Christ
                                  for your sins?
                              4. False Prophets had penetrated the Church at Corinth and were trying to wear away Paul’s
                                   authority.

2Cor 1:15 KJV And in this confidence I was minded to come unto you before, that ye might have a second benefit;
2Cor 1:16  KJV And to pass by you into Macedonia, and to come again out of Macedonia unto you,
and of you to be brought on my way toward Judea.
2Cor 1:17 KJV When I therefore was thus minded, did I use lightness? or the things that I purpose, do I
purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be yea yea, and nay nay?
2Cor 1:18  KJV But as God is true, our word toward you was not yea and nay.

2Cor 1:15 NIV Because I was confident of this, I planned to visit you first so that you might benefit twice.
2Cor 1:16 NIV I planned to visit you on my way to Macedonia and to come back to you from Macedonia,
2Cor 1:17 NIV When I planned this, did I do it lightly? Or do I make my plans in a worldly manner so
that in the same breath I say, "Yes, yes" and "No, no"?
2Cor 1:18 NIV But as surely as God is faithful, our message to you is not "Yes" and "No."
                  Facts:
                              1. Paul was confidence and preparing to come to them at Corinth.
                              2. Generally when Paul came to a church the Christian’s received a blessing and gave Paul  a
blessing also. This happens in the present day when the believers listen to any speaker
or teacher that is anointed of God and lets the Holy Spirit do His work through them.
                              3. He as any servant of God should be. The Lord’s work was serious with Paul.
It meant the difference is some going to Hell or Heaven.
                              4.  Paul could had an simple life if he just did what satisfied Paul. ( The Flesh ).
                              5.  The yea stands for Yes ( the truth ) and nay for No ( False Hood ).

2Cor 1:19  KJV For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us,
even by me and Silvanus and Timothy, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea.
2Cor 1:20  KJV For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

2Cor 1:19 NIV For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by me and Silas and Timothy,
was not "Yes" and "No," but in him it has always been "Yes."
2Cor 1:20 NIV For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him
the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God.
                  Facts:
                             1. Believer’s don’t lose the salvation since it is not theirs too lose. It is God’s plan for the
salvation of man’s soul. Eph 2:8-9.
Are you a true believer in Christ?   Do you believe in the Complete work of the Gospel  of
                                  Jesus Christ, the Son of God? Mat 8:29; Mat 14:33; Mat 16:16;Mat 26:63; John 1:34;
Acts 3:13; Acts 8:37; 1 Cor 1:9. There are numerous additional references.
What is the Gospel? Christ died on the cross of Calvary, was buried, and arose the third
day as foretold in God’s word.
Christ has ascended into Heaven seated at God the Father’s right hand. There He
performs as an advocated for the ones that believe on His name and have made Him  Lord
and Master. Christ name represents all Jesus stands for and is.
We are not as believers part of this world. The Devil had power over death until Christ
bought, won the victory over death. The curse of death was brought to all of God’s creation
by Satan. Cp 1 Cor 2:6,8,12.
                                 Cp Eph 2:2-3;John 12:30-34;John; 14:31;16:11; Eph 6:11-12; Heb 2:14.
Christ now has power over Death.
Heb 2:14 NIV Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death
he might destroy him who holds the power of death--that is, the devil-
                               2. Beware of the Devil and His demons they are real.
Eph 6:11 NIV Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes.
12         For our struggle is not against flesh and blood,  but against the rulers, against the authorities,
against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the
                                                                                  heavenly realms.
                             3. Paul,  Silvanus and Timothy All preached the same Gospel. He tells them it is believing this
same Good News they were saved.
                             4. In Christ He is Yea, the truth. There are people that agree with whoever they are with for the
praise of man or just to get a increase for themselves. Paul states the  Gospel has not changed.
He tells them he had done nothing for his gain.
                             5. Without Christ none of the promises would come to past.
Christ paid the price in full. Our sin debt is paid off Past, present, and future.
God made a promise if we would just believe He will give the believer eternal Life, that is
forever, everlasting, and without end. Christ is forever.
                               Rev 1:8; Rev 21:6; Rev 22:13; Heb 13:8.
                              6. Amen so be it or it is true.
                                               Amen == amhn amen am-ane'
of Hebrew origin (543); properly, firm, i.e. (figuratively) trustworthy; adverbially, surely
(often as interjection, so be it):--amen, verily.
The believers needs to hold up an anointed Pastor, Preacher, Teacher, or God’s worker.
Do you say Amen when something is spoken in truth or that you agree with?
We need to support a church which is performing God’s work.

2Cor 1:21  KJV Now he which establisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;
2Cor 1:21 NIV Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us,
                   Facts:
                              1. A question whom does Paul declare saves a person’s soul? Who delivers the Salvation of a
believer’s soul? Paul states it is God! Is it in the course of Good works? NO!
Then is it by means of baptism? No! It is by God's work in Christ.
Paul by no means states that God did his part and now the sinner has to do their part in
order to be saved From the Wrath of God.
Do Lost souls Gain Salvation by Good works or by Preaching the Gospel of Christ
or by preaching a Social Gospel ( do good unto others ). No it is God who Saves and makes
                                    one a new creation.
2 Cor 5:17 NIV  Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!
18      All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of
                                                                              reconciliation:
Gal 6:15 NIV Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is a new creation.

                              2. God is a jealous God. No, God is not going to share the Glory of His work with any one.
                              Exodus 20:5; Joshua 24:19; Cp EZ 39:25; 1 cor 10:22; Eph 2:8-9.
                              3. God even anoints the believer. Choosing them for a special People.
1 Peter 2:9 NIV  But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God,
that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
10       Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy,
but now you have received mercy.

                                                               Anointed== [Grk. 5548] chore (kree'no)
probably akin to 5530 through the idea of contact; to smear or rub with oil,
i.e. (by implication) to consecrate to an office or religious service:--anoint.
                                                                       From Strong’s E-sword.net or SwordSeacher.com.

ANOINT To apply oil to a person or thing, a practice common in the East. Anointing was of three kinds:
                                                                ordinary, sacred, and medical. Ordinary anointing with scented oils was common (Ruth 3:3; Ps 104:15;
Prov 27:9). It was discontinued during a time of mourning (2 Sam 14:2; Dan 10:3; Matt 6:17).
Guests were anointed as a mark of respect (Ps 23:5; Luke 7:46).
The dead were prepared for burial by anointing (Mark 14:8; 16:1).
The leather of shields was rubbed with oil to keep it from cracking (Isa 21:5), but this could be
called also a sacred anointing--i.e., consecration to the war in the name of whatever god was invoked
                                                                       to bless the battle.
The purpose of sacred anointing was to dedicate the thing or person to God.
The stone Jacob used for a pillow at Bethel (Gen 28:18),
the tabernacle and its furniture  (Exodus 30:22-29),
                                                                         prophets (1 Kings 19:16; 1 Chron 16:22),
                                                                         priests (Exodus 28:41; 29:7; Lev 8:12, 30),
                                                                         and kings (Saul--1 Sam 9:16; 10:1; David--1 Sam 16:1;
                                                                        1 Sam 16:12-13; 2 Sam 2:7; Solomon--1 Kings 1:34; Jehu--
1 Kings 19:16) were anointed. The oil symbolized the Holy
Spirit, empowering them for a particular work in the service
of God. "The Lord's anointed" was the common term for a
                                                                            theocratic king (1 Sam 12:3; Lam 4:20).

Messiah, from the Hebrew word mashach, and Christ, from the Greek chrein, mean "the anointed one."
The word is twice used of the coming Redeemer in the OT (Ps 2:2; Dan 9:25-26).
Jesus was anointed with the Holy Spirit at his baptism (John 1:32-33),
                                                                       marking him the  Messiah (Luke 4:18, 21; Acts 9:22; 17:2-3; 18:5, 28).

                                                                        (2 Cor 1:21; 1 John 2:20).

Medical anointing, not necessarily with oil, was customary for the sick and wounded
(Isa 1:6; Luke 10:34). Jesus' disciples anointed with oil (Mark 6:13; James 5:14).

Seal ==  A signet containing a distinctive mark which stood for the individual who owned it. The earliest
seals found so far date to before 3000 B.C. Seals varied in shapes and sizes.
Some were round and were worn around the neck. Others were rings worn on the finger. The mark
was made by stamping the seal into soft clay. Many cylinder seals have been found which contain
scenes that communicate a message. These were rolled in the clay to form the impression. Tamar
asked for Judah’s signet as collateral on a pledge he made (Gen 38:18). Joseph was given
pharaoh’s ring when he was placed in command of the country (Gen. 41:42), symbolizing Joseph’s
right to act with the ruler’s authority. Jezebel used Ahab’s seal to sign letters asking that Naboth
be tried and stoned to death ( 1 Kings 21:8).
