Notes on Mat 24 :1-28
Introduction: Christ in Matthew's Chapter thirteen
begin to change His message after the signs became clear that the nation
of Israel had rejected Him as their King. The Devil’s time of Justice is
becoming closer. Rev 20:10. As a result
Christ paid the redemption purchase price of sin for the world. The Devil
is stepping up his actions because his time is running out. If he can keep
a soul from accepting Christ as saviour he is better off. The next step
for the Devil is to devour a soul not to lose their salvation but to stop
their witness or ruin it all together.
Satan Greatest Game is to cause a believer to think they have lost
the salvation of their soul.

1 Peter 5:8 Be sober,
be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh
about, seeking whom he may devour:
It goes along with the saying:
"One man cannot hold another man down in the ditch without remaining
in the ditch with him."
This what is meant by being unequally yoked.

"Can two walk together, except they be agreed?"
In the days that Oxen's were used and still used in
some countries today. They would put two oxen of equal strength and size
together with a Yoke. These two were linked together.
If a pair of difference size, weight, strength, or
age very little work could be done.
One would out do the other, the stronger one would get tired. It
just does not work very well.
Times in families, churches, and other organize
this happens being unequally linked together.
On the day of Pentecost they were of one mind one accord. Acts

Just look at what God accomplished through the believers.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
These First four words are the most powerful assembly of words in the English
language. They are so powerful many bible students have never digested
them. IN THE BEGINNING GOD.

A word about the use of several
translations. They are all meant for study and reference.
If one reads commentaries or uses Sunday school literature, and
/ or listens to a teacher or preacher they are to be taken as enlightenment
of God’s word. Any comment on God’s Holy Word should be verified
by a complete study of the study or the preaching. The individual believer
is the one that is in the end held accountable. 2

Mat 24:1 KJV
And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple:
and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things?
verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here on
stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples
came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall
these things be? and what shall be the sign of
thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive
you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive
many.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars:
see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but
the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against
kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes,
in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall
kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another,
and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax
cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all
the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of
desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the
holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out
of his house:
18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in
those days!
20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath
day:
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since
the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be
saved:
but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe
it not.
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets,
and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that,
if it were possible, they shall deceive
the
very elect.
25 Behold, I have told you before.
26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you,
Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret
chambers;
believe it not.
27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the
west;
so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
Mat 24:1-28 NIV
1 Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his
disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings.
2 "Do you see all these things?" he asked. "I tell you
the truth, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be
thrown down."
3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the
disciples came to him privately. "Tell us," they said,
"when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming
and of the end of the age?"
4 Jesus answered: "Watch out that no one deceives you.
5 For many will come in my name, claiming, `I am the Christ,' and will
deceive many.
6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it
that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the
end is still to come.
7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against
kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.
9 "Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death,
and you will be hated by all nations because of me.
10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and
hate each other,
11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.
12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold,
13 but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the
whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
15 "So when you see standing in the holy place `the abomination that causes
desolation,
' spoken of through the prophet Daniel--let the reader understand--
16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
17 Let no one on the roof of his house go down to take anything out of
the house.
18 Let no one in the field go back to get his cloak.
19 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing
mothers!
20 Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the
Sabbath.
21 For then there will be great distress, unequaled from
the beginning of the world until now--and never to be equaled again.
22 If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive,
but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.
23 At that time if anyone says to you, `Look, here is the Christ!' or,
`There he is!' do not believe it.
24 For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs
and miracles to
deceive even the elect--if that were possible.
25 See, I have told you ahead of time.
26 "So if anyone tells you, `There he is, out in the desert,
' do not go out; or, `Here he is, in the inner rooms,' do not believe it.
27 For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west,
so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
28 Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.

Mat 24:1-28 CEV
The Temple Will Be Destroyed
(Mark 13.1-2; Luke 21.5,
6)
1 After Jesus left the
temple, his disciples came over and said, “Look at all these buildings!”
2 Jesus replied, “Do you see
these buildings? They will certainly be torn down! Not one stone
will be left
in place.”
Warning about Trouble
(Mark 13.3-13; Luke 21.7-19)
3 Later, as Jesus was sitting
on the Mount of Olives, his disciples came to him in private and
asked,
“When will this happen?
What
will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the world?”
4 Jesus answered: Don’t let
anyone fool you.
5 Many will come and claim to
be me.
They will say that
they are the Messiah, and they will fool many people.
6 You will soon hear about wars
and threats of wars but don’t be afraid.
These
things will have to happen first, but that isn’t the end.
7 Nations and kingdoms
will go to war against each other.
People will starve
to death, and in some places there will be earthquakes.
8 But this is just the beginning
of troubles.
9 You will be arrested, punished,
and even killed.
Because of me,
you will be hated by people of all nations.
10 Many will give up and will
betray and hate each other.
11 Many false prophets will
come and fool a lot of people.
12 Evil will spread and cause
many people to stop loving others.
13 But if you keep on being
faithful right to the end, you will be saved.
14 When the good news about
the kingdom has been preached all over the world and told to all
nations, the end will come.
The
Horrible Thing
(Mark 13.14-23; Luke 21.20-24)
15 Someday you will see that
“Horrible Thing” in the holy place,
just as the
prophet Daniel said. Everyone who reads this must try to understand!
16 If you are living in Judea
at that time, run to the mountains.
17 If you are on the roof
of your house, don’t go inside to get anything.
18 If you are out in the field,
don’t go back for your coat.
19 It will be a terrible time
for women who are expecting babies or nursing young children.
20 And pray that you won’t have
to escape in winter or on a Sabbath.
21 This will be the worst time
of suffering since the
beginning of the world, and nothing this terrible will ever happen again.
22 If God doesn’t make the time
shorter, no one will be left alive.
But because of God’s chosen ones, he will make the time shorter.
23 Someone may say, “Here is
the Messiah!” or “There he is!” But don’t believe it.
24 False messiahs and false
prophets will come and work great miracles and signs.
They
will even try to fool God’s chosen ones.
25 But I have warned you ahead
of time.
26 If you are told that the
Messiah is out in the desert, don’t go there!
And if you are told that he is in some secret place, don’t believe it!
27 The coming of the Son of
Man will be like lightning that can be seen from east to west.
28 Where there is a corpse,
there will always be buzzards.

Jesus Foretells the Future
1 As Jesus was leaving the Temple
grounds, his disciples pointed out to him the various
Temple
buildings.
2 But he told them, “Do you
see all these buildings?
I assure
you, they will be so completely demolished that not one stone will be left
on top of
another!”
3 Later, Jesus sat on the slopes
of the Mount of Olives.
His
disciples came to him privately and asked, “When will all this take place?
And
will there be any sign ahead of time to signal your return and the
end of the world?”
4 Jesus told them, “Don’t let
anyone mislead you.
5 For many will come in my name,
saying, ‘I am the Messiah.’ They will lead many astray.
6 And wars will break out near
and far, but don’t panic. Yes, these things must come,
but the end won’t
follow immediately.
7 The nations and kingdoms will
proclaim war against each other,
and there will
be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world.
8 But all this will be only
the beginning of the horrors to come.
9 “Then you will be arrested,
persecuted, and killed. You will be hated all over the world
because
of your allegiance to me.
10 And many will turn away from
me and betray and hate each other.
11 And many false prophets will
appear and will lead many people astray.
12 Sin will be rampant everywhere,
and the love of many will grow cold.
13 But those who endure to the
end will be saved.
14 And the Good News about the
Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world,
so that all nations will hear it; and then, finally, the end will come.
15 “The time will come when
you will see what Daniel the prophet spoke about:
the sacrilegious object that causes desecration standing in the holy
place”
—reader, pay attention!
16 “Then those in Judea must
flee to the hills.
17 A person outside the house
must not go inside to pack.
18 A person in the field must
not return even to get a coat.
19 How terrible it will be for
pregnant women and for
mothers nursing their babies in those days.
20 And pray that your flight
will not be in winter or on the Sabbath.
21 For that will be a time of
greater horror than anything the
world
has ever seen or will ever see again.
22 In fact, unless that time
of calamity is shortened, the entire human race will be destroyed.
But
it will be shortened for the sake of God’s chosen ones.
23 “Then if anyone tells you,
‘Look, here is the Messiah,’ or
‘There he is,’ don’t pay any attention.
24 For false messiahs and false
prophets will rise up and
perform
great miraculous signs and wonders so as to deceive,
if
possible,
even God’s chosen ones.
25 See, I have warned you.
26 “So if someone tells you,
‘Look, the Messiah is out in the desert,’
don’t bother to go and look. Or, ‘Look, he is hiding here,’ don’t believe
it!
27 For as the lightning lights
up the entire sky, so it will be when the Son of Man comes.
28 Just as the gathering of
vultures shows there is a carcass
nearby,
so these signs indicate that the end is near
Holy Bible, New Living Translation, (Wheaton, IL: Tyndale House Publishers,

Jesus in Mat 24:1-3 Foretells
the Future. On the Mount of Olives he tells the disciples the Temple will
in the future will be left with not one stone left on top
of another.
The coming destruction of Jerusalem, which was accomplished by the
Roman general Titus in A.D...70
Verse 4 Jesus tells his disciples that many will come and
claim to be the Messiah.
As a result many will be lead
astray. This is not to say that they will lose their salvation.
Interpretation of the Olivet Discourse ranges widely from liberal
(Allen, Moffat, McNeile, Kee, etc.) to conservative (among whom there is
variation from amillennial, Hendricksen; to post-tribulational, Morgan;
to
pretribulational, Kent and Walvoord).
Difference of interpretation may even be noted between Walvoord
who views Matthew 24:4–14 as events of the Church Age leading up to the
Tribulation Period and Kent (p. 85) who sees them as happening during
the first
part of the Tribulation Period. The key to
interpreting this section rests in one’s view of the “gospel of the kingdom”
(vss. 13–14). Since Matthew has already shown in his selection of parables
that the present form
of the kingdom of heaven is the church, it
seems more proper to view the events in these verses as relating
to the entire Church Age and culminating especially
at the end of it (thus John could say in general that he was a “companion
in tribulation and in the kingdom,” though he was still in the Church Age,
of Revelation 1:9).
Therefore, the “signs” of the end are general characteristics of
the present age which shall be intensified as
the age moves on to its conclusion. These are followed by more specific
signs (vss. 15–26) of the
Tribulation Period and the final return of Christ in judgment (vss.
27–31).

At the time Jesus was speaking it
must be remembered Christ was still on the earth He had not left so
the Spirit could come. The end of fifty days marked the day
of Pentecost.
The day the Lord added to the church. See Acts
Chapters 1 and 2.
The signs of wars, famines, earthquakes
have always happen, but toward the end of the age every one
of theses will increase in intensely. This will be mild compare
to the end.
2 Thess 2:2-4; Rev 13:14- 15; Dan 9:25-27; Dan 11:31.
As
the end gets nearer more things seem to be happen. 9-11-2001, the tidal
wave ( Tsunami ) of 12-26-2004 hit every
country in the India ocean basin.
In the later days believers will
die for their faith physically. Read the Foxes book of Martyr or The trail
of Blood. This was written Feb 17, 2002 and in light of the world and its
Disrespect for the true God. The world’s failure to recognize Jesus as
the saviour of the lost world all of this persecution could happen again.
Will happen during the tribulation as the bible explains.
Most bible students agree the if a soul is not saved at the end
of the church age, the rapture (1 Thess 4:14-18),
they can not be saved during the Tribulation if they have already heard
the Gospel 1 Cor 15:1-11.; 2 Cor 6:2
First they have heard the Gospel before the second coming.
Second there will still be many that will not bow to the living
God.
Rev 6:16 CEV
16 Then they shouted to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us!
Hide us from the one who sits on the throne and from the anger of the Lamb.
17 That terrible day has come! God and the Lamb will show their anger,
and who can face it?”

The wicked are so bad they know it is God but
yet they had rather die. Or could it be that they can not be saved and
the wrath of God is so great, is so bad they have trouble enduring.
If one never accepts Christ as their saviour they are considered
to have turned from God.
Verse 12 were there is sin love, true Love gets to the point that
it can not be seen.
In verse 13 Christ is talking about the flesh enduring not spiritually.
By this time the Gospel will have been preached to the whole world.
Verse 15. Ye must be taken generically, since the disciples have
not lived to see this take place.
The abomination of desolation refers to Daniel
9:27; 11:31; 12:11; where Antiochus Epiphanes’
profanation of the Jewish temple worship would foreshadow a similar
and more severe act by the eschatological Antichrist. Whereas Antiochus
offered a pig on the sacred altar of the Temple, the Antichrist will offer
himself
(2 Thess 2:4)!
The action of desecration by Antiochus, which David had predicted,
will now be repeated in the future by the Antichrist as the signal of the
beginning of the Great Tribulation and the breaking of the covenant
“in the midst of the week”(Dan 9:27),
i.e., the seventieth week of Daniel’s prophecy, whose length is forty-two
months (Rev 11:2), 1,260 days (Rev
12:6), or “time, and times, and half a time” (Dan
7:25; Rev 12:14).
The holy place, i.e. Temple, which will be rebuilt. Kent (p. 86)
rightly observes that this cancels limitation
of Daniel’s prophecy to just the days of Antiochus (Allen, p. 256)
since Jesus, in His day, was still awaiting
further fulfillment, and it likewise goes beyond the catastrophe
of A.D. 70 (Stagg, p. 200), since
it is called the greatest tribulation of all time (Mt
24:21).

Verse 21
Mat 24:21-24 KJV
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since
the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be
saved:
but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.
23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there;
believe it not.
24 For there shall arise false Christs,
and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that,
if it were possible,
they shall deceive the very elect.
Notice if it were possible.
The Churches of the world have become dull. They preach the truth but the
preacher gets more
excited about his new truck than telling a lost soul the truth.
The most exciting thing in our lives should be
the saving Grace of Almighty God. Our families should also rate
high on this list of things the believer gets
happy about. Remember God gave that family to you. What are you
going to do with that family?
There are some churches that dare to be Spirited. They visit the ones out
of church.
Theses churches act as one big family. The pastor and elders know
how to get to each person's house.
Has your pastor ever been to your house, even when there has been
a death. It is a little late then.
A dead body can not be lead to Christ. Sorry there is a cut off on everything
the separation of the
spirit of man from the human body is final for that lost soul.
Final for that soul that never accepted Christ
as saviour. That lost soul will spend eternity in Hell.
A saved person is said to be absent
from the body present with the Lord Jesus. 1
Cor 5:3; 2 Cor 5:6-8.
The lost
go at once to Hell. Luke 16:24
There is so little enthusiasm in the Religious
circle of the world, many on the outside looking in at the church,
wonders does those so-called believers really believe in a God that
is Almighty?
Do they really believe in Hell ( the
lake of fire? )
Can God really
save to the uttermost? Heb 7:25. There have
been many over the years that start
and looked sincere that proved who they were. Some were never
saved. Some let the devil in. Some let
the power get to them. This is why I stress that a person
checks that person's doctrine out.
Some are so deceivable that they will never
print what they stand for. These people Christ warned against.
What a group believes or a speaker believes is so important.
If they are off on the Lord’s Supper then
they will be off on who is in the Bride of Christ. They will
be off on Who is in the Church.
Next they will be denying the invisible
church, ( the invisible is made up of the saved past, present,
and future the one not saved or born but will be.) The believers
can be fruit inspectors. James 2:1-26;
Gal 5:22-26.
Again their thinking will lead to misunderstanding
the eternal Salvation of Man’s soul.
If they miss the point of baptism they may begin to add it to God’s
plan of Salvation then that becomes
man's plan of Salvation.
Christ finished the salvation of each person's soul
that accepts Christ’s work.
Verse 27. I remembered watching NASA
on Television. They were over Africa, it was lighting, this
lighting traveled from one side of the continent of Africa
to the other side.
This verse says the entire sky. That is the way it will be when
Jesus comes.
Groups have come up claiming they know
the time of the end of time. These times have come and gone.
Several say it has already happen. More say it is now that
we are living in those times.
The Christ tells that it is future. Christ also
leads the believer to know that we are only traveling
through this world. The Born Again Believer is not of this world.
John

Scripture interprets scripture.
Mat 24:26-44 NIV
36 "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven,
nor the Son,
but only the Father.
37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son
of Man.
38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking,
marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark;
39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and
took them all away.
That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left.
41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the
other left.
42 "Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord
will come.
43 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time
of night the thief was coming,
he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.
44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour
when you do not expect him.

As Christ warns that there will be many
False-Christ’s come. There have been many that have came and went, today
from the year 2002 back several have claimed or implied they are Christ.
In our day of radio and Television you see more and more. They are
always asking for money. How many would come preach your funeral?
They take your money. How many would send you a card while you are in hospital?
They take your money. How many would visit you in Hospital? All of that
money is leaving you community less jobs for your children. Are they going
to help on your Electric or Gas or rent money? They take your money.
The elect will be so hungry for the word the
many smooth talkers will deceive them.
As some of the preachers go to lay hands on the sick out of thousands
they seem to make it on the stage nicely dressed. Before the preacher lays
hands on them some of his hang ons gets around behind them because they
always fall backwards. They never fall straight down or forward they always
fall backwards. Never do they fall sideways always fall backwards.
I never said I did not believe in Healing and the Gift of Healing.
I do believe in lay on of hands and anointing of oil. James 5:10-15. Many
Churches when asked why they don’t do this they just simply say it is something
we don’t do. Yet they argue over other subjects in the bible that
are not as clear.
Acts 1:6-11 CEV
Jesus Is Taken to Heaven
6 While the apostles were still with Jesus, they asked him,
“Lord, are you now going to give Israel its own king again?”
7 Jesus said to them, “You don’t need to know the time of those events
that only the Father controls.
8 But the Holy Spirit will come upon you and give you power.
Then you will tell everyone about me in Jerusalem, in all Judea, in Samaria,
and everywhere in the world.”
9 After Jesus had said this and while they were watching, he was taken
up into a cloud.
They could not see him,
10 but as he went up, they kept looking up into the sky.
Suddenly two men dressed in white clothes were standing there beside them.
11 They said, “Why are you men from Galilee standing here and looking up
into the sky?
Jesus has been taken to heaven.
But he will come back in the same way that you have seen him go.”

Christ in Acts 1:8 tells His disciples were
it is important for all servants of Christ to start all
missionary work at home. The more souls won to Christ at home the
more missionary work can be done in the
rest of the world.
One of the safe guards against False preachers and teachers is the support
of a local visible
Church. It never ends but believers are to always to contend for
the faith.
A believer that never tries the Spirits is not in obedience to God's
word. 1 John 4:1
[Bible in Basic English] (1 John 4:1)
¶ My loved ones, do not put your faith in every spirit, but put them
to the test, to see if they are from God:
because a great number of false prophets have gone out into the world.
1 John 4:1-3 NLT
1 Dear friends, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit.
You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God.
For there are many false prophets in the world.
2 This is the way to find out if they have the Spirit of God:
If a prophet acknowledges that Jesus Christ became a human being, that
person has the Spirit of God.
3 If a prophet does not acknowledge Jesus, that person is not from God.

In 1 John John is telling the believers to try or test the spirits. He

Are
they preaching or teaching the Gospel? 1 Cor
15:1-11; John 14:6
I have had people tell me that what Jesus did on the cross was not reverent.
I disagree the Salvation of
your soul
is the first and most important part in your relation to God. Without the
work of Christ on the
cross
the world is lost. If Christ had not came back alive in the glorified body
the world would be lost and never
have a
Chance to be saved.
If
He is not alive at the right hand of the Father the world would be in a
lost state.
Christ
work is there for the accepting.
Jude 1:3-4 CEV
3 My dear friends, I really wanted to write you about
God’s saving power at work in our lives. But instead,
I must write and ask you to defend the faith that God
has once for all given to his people.
4 Some godless people have sneaked in among us and are
saying, “God treats us much better than we deserve,
and so it is all right to be immoral.” They even deny that
we must obey Jesus Christ as our only Master and Lord.
But long ago the Scriptures warned that these godless people were doomed.
Christ knew that each believer needed that support of the other believers.
Heb 10:25 CEV
25 Some people have gotten out of the habit
of meeting for worship, but we must not do that.
We should keep on encouraging each other,
especially since you know that the day of the Lord’s coming is getting
closer.

Summary: Christ was instructing and answering
his disciples both directly and indirectly.
Many come and have came claiming the be the Christ. Only one went
and died for all sinners in the world.
Christ died for our past, present, and future sins. How Can a believer
lose. God is the author and finisher of
the Salvation plan for man's soul. The word of God says whosoever.
That is anyone. This is talking about Me.
It is also talking about you the reader.
If someone, no one you know that
has all of the money that you would need to pay your debts past, present,
and future opens up an account for you to use for life. This is
a lifetime of needs.
The only catch is you just have to use it. It is not any use to
you if you never accept the account.
There are never any prayers, you have never ask Christ to Save your
sin sick soul.
All you have to do is just
accept Christ. If you have not accepted Christ as your personal saviour
just accept before it is to late.
The fact God made it so simple, people have trouble
understanding God's love is so simple. 1 John 4:8.
Remember God does the work. He
is a Jealous God. God does not want to share the salvation of your soul
with you or anyone else. 1 Cor 10:22;
2 Cor 11:2; Exodus 20:5; Exodus 34:14.
Christ finished His work
on the Cross of Calvary. Remember Christ gave Himself His life was not
taken.
It was not taken from Him. Willingly Christ died for the sinner.

When The Wind Blows
Years ago a farmer owned land along the Atlantic sea coast.
He constantly advertised for hired hands.
Most people were reluctant to work on farms along the Atlantic.
They dreaded the awful storms that raged across the Atlantic,
wreaking havoc on the buildings and crops.
As the farmer interviewed applicants for the job, he received a steady
stream of refusals.
Finally, a short, thin man, well past middle age, approached
the farmer.
"Are you a good farm hand?" the farmer asked him.
"Well, I can sleep when the wind blows," answered the little man.
Although puzzled by this answer, the farmer, desperate for help,
hired him.
The little man worked well around the farm, busy from dawn to dusk,
and the farmer felt satisfied with the man's
work.
Then one night the wind howled loudly in from offshore. Jumping
out of bed, the farmer grabbed a lantern and rushed next door to the hired
hand's sleeping quarters.
He shook the little man and yelled, "Get up! A storm is coming!
Tie things down before they blow away!"
The little man rolled over in bed and said firmly, "No sir.
I told you, I can sleep when the wind blows."
Enraged by the old man's response, the farmer was tempted to fire
him on the spot. Instead, he hurried outside
to prepare for the storm.
To his amazement, he discovered that all of the haystacks had been
covered with tarpaulins. The cows were in the barn, the chickens were in
the coops, and the doors were barred. The shutters were tightly secured.
Everything
was tied down. Nothing could blow away.
The farmer then understood what his hired hand meant, and he returned
to bed to also sleep while the wind blew.
Moral of the story: When you're prepared, you have nothing to fear.
Can you sleep when the wind blows through your life? The hired hand
in the story was able to sleep because he had secured the farm against
the storm.
We secure ourselves against the storms of life by grounding ourselves
firmly in the Word of God.
Pass this inspiration on...
