To be and effective soul winner
you must live the Life of a Christian By letting Jesus
lead you through A Spirit filled
life.
Prov 11:30 The fruit of
the righteous [is] a tree of life; and he that winneth souls [is] wise.
James 5:20 Let him know, that
he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way
shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.
John 15:16 Ye have not chosen
me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye
should go and bring forth fruit, and [that] your fruit should remain:
that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
Psalm 126:6 He that goeth forth
and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless
come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves [with him].
Chapter 13 Of the Book of Matthew
Is an example of sowing seed, how Christian is but in
content with saved and unsaved ( Lost, Hell bent for everlasting torment.
1 Peter 2:21 For even
hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us,
leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
Isa 6:5 Then said I, Woe
[is] me! for I am undone; because I [am] a man of unclean lips,
and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have
seen
the King, the LORD of hosts.
6 Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand,

he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:
7 And he laid [it] upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips;
and thine
iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.
8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who
will go for us? Then said I, Here [am] I; send me.
Gal 6:7 Be not deceived; God
is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth,
that shall he also reap.
8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but
he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap,
if we faint not.
Sometimes The Easiest People to Witness Are Total Strangers.
1. But Before we every start
to witness for Jesus Christ One Thing And this One thing
is
that You Personally Know Jesus Christ .
Who was Jesus Christ In
Matthew 1:21-25 His first Name Is Emmanuel . What does it mean?
Emmanuel == God with us or God
who dwelt with us In flesh. Do you believe that?
Jesus == Greek Form of Joshua
, He would save His people From their Sins.
Do you also believe that Jesus
Christ Was born of a Virgin ?
What
Does Beginning born of a virgin have to do with Jesus and my sins?
Roman 5:12 Wherefore, as by
one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin;
and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when
there
is no law.
14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that
had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is
the figure of him that was to come.
15 But not as the offence, so also [is] the free gift. For if through the
offence
of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace,
which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
An inheritance was through the male line. Jesus Had the Holy Spirit as
Father.
Mt 1:18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his
mother
Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was
found with child of the Holy Ghost.
The Holy
Spirit Is God One Of the persons Of The trinity. The Godhead. So therefore
without sin.
If you do not know Christ as
you personal Saviour . You need to do it know .
Just say the sinners prayer.
Lord Jesus I know I am
a sinner. I know you died on the Cross, was buried, and rose
again the Third day. This
you did for my sins. I ask you now to save my soul.
I now confess that
you are my Saviour. I now ask you to now help me to become a
soul winner (disciple
of yours). Thank you Jesus for saving my soul.
The first thing you need to do is tell someone that Jesus Christ Just
saved your soul.
The next thing is to be Scripturally Baptized in a Scriptural Church. You
now have the
Holy Spirit dwelling inside you. Ask the Jesus Christ through the Holy
Spirit(Ghost) to
lead you.
If you love the Lord Jesus you will love souls.
Many Religions Of the world have
had Leaders, Where are they today?
Are they Living?
Jesus is!
Did they rise the
third day? Jesus Did!
Are they in a Glorify
body. Jesus is!
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and
shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the
dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with
the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be
ashamed.
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for
the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be
saved.
2. Do you under stand the ordinance
of Baptism. Baptism is With Much water .
John 3:23 And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim,
because there was much water there: and they came,
and were baptized.
Matthew 3:16
Baptism
has nothing to do in the saving of a soul. It does not even enhance Grace.
If
it did or does, Then John the Baptist would have baptized the Pharisees
and
Sadducees
In Mat 3:6-11.
Mat 3:6 And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins.
7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come
to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who
hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
8 Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:
9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to
[our] father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones
to raise up children unto Abraham.
10 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore
every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and
cast into the fire.
11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that
cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not
worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost,
and [with] fire:
3. You must be filled with the
Holy Spirit . Or there Is no power . You are Indwell with the
Holy
Ghost (Spirit) the moment we are saved.
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one
of
you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye
shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

1 Cor 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost
which
is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come
upon you:
and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea,
and
in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
1 Cor 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither
have
entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared
for them that love him.
10 But God hath revealed [them] unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit
searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of
man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man,
but the Spirit of God.
12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit
which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely
given to us of God.
13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's
wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing
spiritual things with spiritual.
14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God:
for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them],
because they are spiritually discerned.
4. Are you ready to go where
the Holy Ghost Sends or Takes you?
Acts 8:26 And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise,
and
go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem
unto Gaza, which is desert.
27 And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an
eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the
Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come
to Jerusalem for to worship,
28 Was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet.
29 Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this
chariot.
30 And Philip ran thither to [him], and heard him read the prophet
Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?
31 And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me?
And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.
32 The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as
a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer,
so opened he not his mouth:
33 In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall
declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth.
34 And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom
speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man?
35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture,
and preached unto him Jesus.
36 And as they went on [their] way, they came unto a certain water:
and the eunuch said, See, [here is] water; what doth hinder me to
be baptized?
37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou
mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ
is the Son of God.
38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went
down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he
baptized him.
39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the
Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he
went on his way rejoicing.
40 But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached
in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.
5. You will need the help of
the Holy Ghost. It can not be done effectively on your own-self.
Why?
1 Cor 2:14
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God:
for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them],
because they are spiritually discerned.
Look at the Great Commission
Mt 28:17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.
18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given
unto me in heaven and in earth.
Mt 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the
name
of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have
commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the
end of the world. Amen.

A.
First command is to go He is talking to Christian ( save Born again souls)
B.
Teach - train - he gave them power he choose them to do his work. We are
chosen .

Baptizing (Saved ones not for salvation this comes after salvation)

Teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you.
E.
I am with you (how long?) to the end of the world . Amen == so be it.

Soul - Winning does not end when the person (soul) makes a confess of
Faith.
G.
You have Authority . Jesus taught as one having authority. Mat 7:28, 29.
The Holy Spirit is with you use it.
6. Your Life must be Christ like.
Acts 11:23 Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad,
and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would
cleave unto the Lord.
24 For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith:
and much people was added unto the Lord.
25 Then departed Barnabas to Tarsus, for to seek Saul:
26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And
it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves
with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples
were called Christians first in Antioch.
The people of the area took notice what change had happen in those peoples
lives. If you want to be a soul - winner, teacher, Deacon, trustees, youth
leader,
preacher, Janitor and or pastor . Your life must reflect what you
preach or do
to be successfully. The world is looking (watching).
7. Find A Scriptural Church
A. Find A Scriptural Church. Some persons Try to call A bible church
God's church Well that is all ok , if it is a Scriptural. This Church
should state it beliefs up front. Some Faith are afraid or just don't
know what their Church stands for.
Another thing that is A growing Problem is when a person finds another
church they want to move their letters. The church want send them.
By the scriptures those Letters Show your character , That character
belongs wherever you go.
By Scriptural A Church that preaches that Salvation by Grace along.
Eph. 2:8 - 10.
Baptism Should be by immersion. Baptism and the Lord's Supper
should not be taught as saving or helping your Grace.
Another thing a Scriptural Church should do is let sinner into their
Church. I don't mean Church membership? Could you invite a sinner
there to Church and he get saved? Is an invitation given?
The Great Commission Was given to Jesus' Disciples (believers)
this makes up The Lord's Church. The Lord's Church is made up of
Believers in Jesus Christ. On the Day of Pentecost The Visible Church
on earth received it's power from on high. The disciple of whom
twelve were chosen as Apostles . From these Apostles the Gospel is
passed on down through the age from believers leading others to Christ.
What is taught in the Church you attend is the way you Children
And Grand Children will grow up believing.
2 Cor 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers:
for what fellowship hath righteousness with
unrighteousness? and what communion hath light
with darkness?
B. If you are unequally yoked.
It will be hard. If you put two wheels of difference
sizes
in diameter on a car it will lead (pull) to one side over the other.
The
car will not drive straight. One wheel has to rotate more than the
other
or
work harder.
C. People have said that they
can go to any church no matter what they believe.
This
maybe true, but it is not right in the sight of God. God can not bless
you
in
this way. What are you children going to believe. They could got to Hades
(Hell).
The Lake Of Fire And Brimstone For everlasting.
D. Does the church preach or
teach the gospel every time it or a group meets.
Is an invitation
given when it meets. This may be the only time that the gospel
can be given
to them. In other words is the church serious about Christ's business.
E. If there is not a church
in you area contact a mission board.
Heb 10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to
good works:
25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the
manner of some [is]; but exhorting [one another]: and so
much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Sometime another church will sponsor a like church .
It can start by a bible study.
Again the
Gospel has be carried by believers through the ages. Churches are
started By
Believers . If the churches are made up of believers then how do
churches
start churches. It is Believers.
Mat 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there
am
I in the midst of them.
How
were churches started in past history.
The
thing that has to be remembered is once they are saved by Jesus' Shad
Blood , you need a place
to teach ( educate) them . That is for them to become
disciples. Soul winning
does not stop at the altar or on your needs. Lots of persons
will go through the motion.
That they say the sinners prayer and not mean it.
They will say it just
to get you off of their backs. It is tempting to put you arm
around them when kneeling
to talk to them about salvation. If you put your arm
around it puts your weight
on them makes them uncomfortable. Some people
do not like somebody touching
them or confining them.
Remember this is written in
a free country. The public has to be motivated not
driven, lead not shoved, shown
not blinded folded, and freed not bound.
Salvation is a free choice.
Heaven is A choice provided by God through his son
Jesus Christ. Hades (Hell or
Lake of fire and brimstone Forever) is also Free.
No choice is the price of being
lost for everlasting.
F. Every watch Ants. They all
have a leader they all work for one purpose to
take care of
the leader. They all know there job. If one dies they could all
die or another
steps in to help. It is a lot like that in a church. Every one
has a job . When
it is not done God will give it to someone else. He can
get his Gospel
with out you. But you lose a blessing.
He chose to do the spread the Gospel though his disciples, saved people
that
chose to witness.

8. Self Esteem
A person (a soul ) that knows they are saved should have a lot self esteem.
The Holy Spirit dwells in them. This Is God's power. Jesus saved them.
The saved belong to Jesus. If they don't it is because they first are not
saved.
Second they are not living close to God.
Ways God's word says you can build self esteem
1.
Read bible
2 Tim 3:16
All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for
doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all
good works.

2 Tim 2:15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not
to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

was instant in season and out of season. Philip was full of Holy Spirit,
knew

3.
Pray
James 5:16 Confess [your] faults one to another, and pray one for
another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent
prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
4. The more you witness the
more self esteem you get. Esteem means to set
high value
upon; respect; prize; favorable opinion.
5. Quit Tobacco use . Smoking
Ect. It Stinks. Better for health more energy
for soul
winning. I name Tobacco use because I would probably never
started if
a church leader hadn't smoked between services. I quit smoking
glad of it
. I smoke for almost 40 years.
Had a heart
attack. Be careful what you pray for.
6. Live a Christian life. Christ
like.
Lets recap
Before you can be a soul winner you must be saved and know it.
1 John
5:9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater:
for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.
10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself:
he
that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth
not the record that God gave of his Son.
11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and
this life is in his Son.
12 He that hath the Son hath life; [and] he that hath not the Son of
God hath not life.
13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name
of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life,
and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask
any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that
we have the petitions that we desired of him.
16 If any man see his brother sin a sin [which is] not unto death, he
shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death.
There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
17 All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.
18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that
is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth
him not.
19 [And] we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in
wickedness.
20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an
understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him
that is true, [even] in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God,
and
eternal life.
21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
The Question is who does the holding . Does a child hold it parents
hand in crossing the busy street.
Does one let the child do the holding so the can turn loose any time.
Is the child by blood kin only child of this mom and dad (kin) sometimes
and another mom and dad (kin) another. The child only has one biological
mom and one dad only one set of biological parents Forever.
John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become
the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:
Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons
of
God.
John 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never
perish, neither shall any [man] pluck them out of my hand.
29 My Father, which gave [them] me, is greater than all;
and no [man] is able to pluck [them] out of my Father's hand.
A Successful Soul Winner
Has Knee problems.
1 John 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that,
if we ask
any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know
that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
2 Pet 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men
count slackness; but is long-suffering to upward, not willing that any
should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
It is God's Will
that people be saved. Start a prayer List.
Write this List of names down.
A good ideal put a date when you started to pray
for each one. Let the Holy Spirit
guide you words and action.
Also Make a List Of God's Promise.
All the person in the book
of Acts Were named for a reason . They meet for a
reason, nothing of God it was
by chance. God is all knowing, all seeing,
and all powerful. A God used
Spirit filled Praying Christian is a great
soul winner. Every person you
meet needs to be saved.
God sent
his son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins. He also was
buried but rose the third day
and is still a live setting on the right hand
of God The Father. This is all
foretold in Old Testament.
So far a soul winner needs:
1. Be saved
2. Know it
3. Know your salvation is secure
in Jesus hand he is holding on to you not you
holding on
to him. You are not holding his.
4. Next start Praying Believing
for the souls by name. ( make a written prayer list.
5. Nothing wrong to pray for
God to give you a source of contacts.
6. These contacts can be lost
souls, they can be backslidden souls
(unchurched,
living in sin, soul that are not being feed, there are number of
reason
souls are out of churches).
7. Souls once saved (surrender
to Christ) must be feed .
1 Cor 3:1
And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but
as unto carnal, [even] as unto babes in Christ.
2 I have
fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were
not able [to bear it], neither yet now are ye able.
8. Saved Souls should be churched.
Heb 10.24-25.
9. Our lives should be a witness
to the lost.
No cursing
, no lies, be in church all the time (Sunday school ,Preaching,
Evening
classes Evening Preaching), know your message the Gospel, no bars,
and
any thing that the lost (the world) perceive as sin.
1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things [that are] in the world.
If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For all that [is] in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust
of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of
the world.
17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that
doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
10. Must needs to be a active
church member.
A. It takes a church to make a disciple.
1. Prayer for your support
2. Prayer for your prospects.
3. Prayer for new converts.
a. New converts need help and prayer to be in church Satan
will try to keep the from having a good church
experience.
b. Satan does not want the to learn to resist him it takes
God's word to resist the Devil.
c. A church needs to prayer that this soul that the Lord added
to the harvest to become a soul winner and a discipler.
I worked for a company that had a saying for outside sales,
new future
customers . If you don't have a plan stay in the
car. Well
a Christian has a plan, the Gospel. What Dwell
inside you?
If you are saved you know what Jesus did and is still doing
for you.
Just start with that.
Next you can talk about answered prayer. Talk about a
changed life
in yourself.
Never give up witnessing, what you do or say with the help of
the Holy Spirit may take years.
Remember the person has to accept
Christ as his personal savior.
They can be saved only because
someone got the Gospel to them,
Not because they where born
into a Christian home. Not saved
because their Dad was a Preacher.
You want to say
that you'll be Judging people. That is Ok,
We can not condemn any
one soul God will do that.
God Gives the Holy Spirit to
discern with . Try the spirits.
Our God Will let us know
Just follow the Spirit's lead.
What It takes for souls to be saved:
1. If you don't know anyone
that is lost pray the
Spirit will
lead you to someone
(Acts 8:26 - 29),
or someone to you (Acts 10:1 - 3).
This case an angel
2. Prayer for the lost and guidance
- If you can pray for the lost by name.
3. Word Of God Preached ( the
Gospel Message )
If
doesn't have to be a Pastor; We are all
Preachers.

4. Personal experience with
Jesus Christ as Lord.
i. They are not Christians, the Spirit of God is not dwelling in them.
ii. The Devil will do any thing to keep them from surrendering to Christ.
iii. They must be saved by Jesus.
iv. They can not be forced to be saved.
v. They are of the world.

They are of their Father the Devil .
John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father
ye will do.
He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth,
because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie,
he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Then how do you lead the to
Jesus Christ for salvation?
1. A soul winner needs to be
excited about Jesus Happy about the story of Jesus.
Joyful about sharing you faith in God. Show enthusiasm about sharing your
faith in Jesus. Ready to tell the old, old story of God's love
anytime,
anyplace, and to any body.
Romans
5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while
we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
2. You need a partner. One can
witness by theirself but it just want be as successful.
Why
you ask ?
Eccl 4:9
Two [are] better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.
10 For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him [that
is] alone
when he falleth; for [he hath] not another to help him up.
11 Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how
can one be warm [alone]?
12 And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him;
and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
Mark 6:7
And he called [unto him] the twelve, and began to
send them forth by two and two; and gave them power
over unclean spirits;
8 And commanded them that they should take nothing for
[their] journey, save a staff only; no scrip, no bread, no
money in [their] purse:

The apostles are sent to preach the gospel in to Israel.
This the model for soul winning.
Christ sent them out two by two. You will go places, talk to people
that you will not by yourself. The partner can change diapers,
kept the water from Burning on the stove, he or she can help keep
things on focus. Your partner should be willing to do any thing that
allows you to talk to the prospect (candidate- Lost Soul ).
Only one talk at a time. Only one do the talking.

( visitation partner) partner should be of good report.
The Soul winner must be a person of good report.

must be of same sex. ( husband and wife teams ok natural. )

a lot of scripture.

when Christ came into your heart. When I got saved by the blood of
Jesus. I had something

study, Writing, Teaching, Speaking, Church visitation, and soul
winning helps satisfy
that need.
Jesus salvation
of you soul should be so great that you can not keep it to yourself.
If it isn't it will get
that great the more you study, get answered prayer's, and visit with lost
people ( the souls that
need Jesus as Lord over their life ) and see what they don't have.
Soul that are saved but are
unchurched have also lost the joy of their salvation.
The Devil may have them
down so much that they can't see the joy security they are missing.
The
devil or anything else can not cause a person to lose their salvation.
They can experience the lost
of that joy so they will not witness. Being out of church is not being
a good witness. What if no one
supported a church ? Very few would be saved or no one would
know anything about God's
word the Bible, there would be few preachers, and few soul winners.
Fewer
preachers to preach Funeral ( to only time to get the Gospel lost
souls.)
If they, the one that died went
to hades (hell), they would want the Gospel Preached.
Luke 16:22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by
the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and

Every saved soul that their body
died will want the Gospel preached at their funeral.

4. Not every soul you come in
contract with be saved now or need to have you spend a
lot
time on. You will have to let the Spirit deal with them. Some need to hear
or read
the
Gospel , some need to befriended And intercessory pray offered for them,
and use the
witness
in you.
Use
your life. Some need to be in a teaching class.
Then there are people that need a jolt. Ask them If they died tonight do
the know
where they would go for eternity. Be ready to show them in the bible or
a small New
Testament that is marked with soul winning verses. Know it well carry it
with you all the time.
I had a friend ask me about once saved always saved while I was driving
a pick up down the highway going to dinner. Yes by the way I was
driving
the truck. I had my New Testament in my back pocket, by having the
passage
marked I could open it up and have him read. The discussion continued through
Lunch.
Another time I worked as a auto mechanic ( got greasy the black kind ),
I carried a
New Testament That zipped up, it was a small pocket New Testament. Witness
many times
at work, had passages marked. Comment Verses to memory . If they
see you coming with
a bible they will run. Being called a Bible thumper is a great honor.
The Gospel is simple.
Jesus was born a virgin without
sin.
Jesus died as the price for
Adam's sin that we inherit and our past, present, and future sin.
Jesus was buried.
Jesus rose from the dead.
Jesus appeared in his glorified
body.
Jesus ascended to Heaven.
Jesus is coming again.
Jesus Being rose from the Grave
Is Alive Today.

5. This applies to Bible Thumping,
Soul winning, Church Visitation (tell the points of your
church worship services), Teaching , and Preaching.
If you a presenting a speaker
don't make his speech for him. Just basically tell his name
where he is from.
He will tell what his subjects will be. Every word you say takes up his
valuable time.
This maybe the only time that
could be used to lead a person to Christ. K.I.S.S. . Remember if
you are going to give his speech
you don't need them to give their talk any way. A Christian's
Purpose in life is to make disciples
and glorify God. Get people saved.
6. Speak with authority. You
have the Holy Ghost indwell in you, you are the temple of Holy
Ghost.
Mat 7:29. You have the
authority Of God's word The Holy Bible. I like the King James
Version 1769. Why?
It is the most popular. More people have read from it some time in their
life or heard preaching
from it.
There are other translations, In other words know your bible. Still
remember the
one thing
no one can change is you personal experience with Christ. If you know
nothing else
use it. The best soul winner is that person that just got saved.

enthusiasm
show through genuine. You must practice what you preach. That is live it.
7. Even in personal soul winning
as also in preaching or teaching don't wait till Saturday
night
to prepare your sermon or lesson, do this as far ahead as possible . Then
you need
to
review it starting as soon as you presented the last one.
The greater the message the more you study it. God has a greater length
of time to deal
with you and you audience whether they be one or many. When you take a
course of study
they teach you for a while before they give you a test. The only reason
a teacher may give
you
an early test is to see how much you already know.
In soul winning you should always be learning and practicing. One Practices
By Doing.

This doesn't mean that God can not change your message or your method of
delivery.
Your
method of delivery, your dress, your speech, you manner of movement, message
content
are all very important. Jesus used it all. Paul Used it All. A mark of
a successful person is
one
of two marks:
a. Be present fifteen minutes or more before time. Be prepared. One can
not be effective and not be prepared or if they wait till the last minute
to study. What is more important than the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Remember You are given a Postion of Importance in the Word of The Gospel
of
Christ. There may be a Soul that could do a better job than you. Don't
be in the
way of the work of God.
b. Always have a sermon or mini Gospel to present. Have more than one way
of
telling the same Gospel. 2 Tim 4:1-2
Be prepared before time. So God through the Holy Spirit can work on you
as a messenger .
Lost people are harder for God to deal with. I did not say the God can
not
do what he wants to do. The Holy Spirit is not indwelt in them. A Christian
is indwelt by the Holy Spirit. Just look the problem GOD has with
Christian.
It does not take God Time to work. It takes time For People to work.
The Spirit needs more time to deal with some people. With some people it
takes a
life time to deal with them.
God's Message is always the same. The sooner you have a message the sooner
someone can hear it and see God's saving Grace and be saved.
Always have a message.
What Will happen if you go sowing in a plowed field with an empty sack?
No harvest. The way to have a Great Harvest is to have an old sack full
with holes in it. Psalm 126:6
8. Remember the more prospects
( more contacts ) the more converts. This translates to more
lives
and families changed.
2Cor 5:17 KJV Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature:
old things are
passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Some ways:
A. Bus or Van Ministry
lots children what is the price ( cost of a soul - Christ died for yours
).
We have to manage God's time, money, the churches resources. God is looking
for us
to step out in faith .
B. Advertise --
word of mouth is the best . You can all ways find something good about
anything.
There was this wicked, mean, and most feared man around he would not get
saved.
No one could get along with him. They though there was nothing any one
could find to say
good about him at his funeral . When the speaker started to speak he said
old Joe had the
most beautiful teeth didn't he?
If you like the Sunday school class tell someone.
If you like the preaching tell someone don't keep it a secret.
If the youth program is growing tell someone.
If church is growing tell a friend.
IT may save a friend.
If prayers a being answer tell a neighbor.
If you had the joy of cleaning the church building tell someone at work.
If someone gets saved tell a brother.
If someone does a special in music tell a sister or brother in Christ.
If a family in the church has a blessed event ( new baby ) tell a young
couple about it.
C. If a person in
the church family gets sick get the young people of church together and
have prayer.
A Christian is a live in Christ not dead. The ideal is to let people in
the world know the
church is alive. People like things that are alive. A object that is moving
( living) is more
noticed that a dead object. A deer in the woods is hard to see if they
are still you don't
see one untill it moves.

We must show our joy . Let people know you are alive In Christ. That your
church is
alive. Remember the church life is what the members makes of it.
If you are nothing
but a pew warmer you are there by the Grace of God. A Born again Christian
Should live
a Life with peace in their heart. I didn't say this world would not attack
a Chriatian. A Saved
soul is not of this world. 1 John 4:17
If you are a member and the rest rooms are dirty then clean them don't
complain.
If class room needs to be cleaned then clean it.
If grass needs mowing mow it.
Big churches pay outside people to do these things. It should be done in
the church family.
Some people in church may need finical help then do it. Some churches
are younger churches that are not as well bless in moneys ( Tithes ). A
soul winner,
church visitation person, teacher, preacher, Organ Player, Piano
Player, bus driver,
nursery worker, youth leader, deacon, trustee, and the little old pew
warmer should
( must ) tithe. You will miss a blessing if you don't tithe. Tithing is
part of your witness.
Tithing Is Trusting God with your lively hood He gave it to you in the
first place.
God could take it all back.
If you are a member ( you should be ) of a church you are needed to support
it. It you
are going to work for Christ you must support all regular meeting. If you
are a teacher in
morning you need to support the teachers at evening services. If you are
a teacher in
evening service support the morning teachers. Support equals being
in the class. If you
want to teach or witness effective practice what you preach. Before
you ask someone else
to do something ask yourself would I do it. Can I do it? People work
to support their
families.
They do not have the time. But there are retired people that have a lot
of time
and
skills.
Ask yourself if it is God's will that I be at church? Yes.
Is it God's will
I witness? Yes.
Is it God's will
I tithe? Yes
Will God take care
of me if I tithe? Yes
If my problems
are big my God is small or dead.
If my problems
are small then my God is bigger.
Mal 3:8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein
have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
9 Ye [are] cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, [even] this
whole nation.
10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat
in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of
hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you
out a blessing, that [there shall] not [be room] enough [to receive it].
It all belonged to God First. Why does He gives you money?
Deut 8:18
But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for [it is] he that
giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his
covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as [it is] this day.
We are to get the blessings of the covenant. Gen
22: 17-18. Mark 7:28
D. Buy things local
in the area you love in. Purchase your needs from a small business that
is locally owned. Don't buy from this big company a thousand miles away.
First
they are not going to listen to the Gospel on company time.
They will never see you.
Second
they do not live were you can see them more often. You tell that
local person
you care
about them and you want to trade locally and you don't want to spend their
livelihood
some where. You probably save the taxes.( cheat the local government that
protects
you day and night.) A person doesn't save that much or have to pay that
much
more locally in the long run. Brothers and sisters in Christ you are losing
a contract for
Christ. These
people are you neighbors!!
The local business person makes you community. The Big Chains don't live
in your
area. Yes local
people work in these National Chains. All they are looking for is the monies
they can have at
headquarters. Yes they pay local taxes. That is still better than mail
order.
Your better
prospects are your local people. These Local people are your friends.
They may need Jesus.
It
is know in any business and all business are selling. The more traffic
(contracts ) the better
chance you
have of selling something. We have to sell Jesus Christ to a lost
dying world.
1. You have to show them the need.
2. The solution To their sin debt.
The more contacts the
more souls lead to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Do not take for granted that you life doesn't touch someone else's.
Then you have not been
as observant as you need to be. A good soul winner takes
advantage of ever chance
meeting ( I don't believe in chance ) Rom
8:28. God uses Christian to
witness even if you are
not wanting to be a soul winner. God has a purpose for every person we
meet. That flat
tire some one has to fix it. The car wreck people are involved in is a
contact.
You are sick in the hospital
you are there for a reason someone needs a lift for Christ.
Sometimes people need
to be pointed in the right direction.
One word that God can use it. We may never know the good you have done.
9. Ask yourself Am I making the
rules For god? If yes then he is your god the
one we worship
on our terms. Then you are the creator of your god. This is
an idol. If I realize
that God has the rules , that they are His rules are His rules.
We need to
worship God on his terms. He is greater than I.
Rev 22:13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and
the last.
Again What
are the fundamentals Of Soul Winning. To take advantage of every
opportunity
to tell or get the Gospel of Jesus Christ where they can hear.

What ever you do
or am doing the number one goal is to get the Gospel of Jesus Christ
to a dying world. One
that is dying to go to hell.
1. You have to be saved yourself
and be able to tell others what Christ
has
done for you, since Christ has come into you heart. See the
Holy
Spirit dwells in every Saved Christian. He is the Comforter.
John
16:7. The Comforter will help you .
He can only use what you
put
inside you. You have to feed the Spirit. When one gets to feeding
the body they do not stand a long way from the food, you have to
get
with in arms length of the food. The closer to the table the more one
eats.
The closer you are to God and the knowledge of Jesus Christ the
more
he can use you. 1 Peter 2:2
Once worked with a boy, I offer to show him how to do a lot of the
computer and mechanics of running the store. Well he refused saying
I'll learn it when they pay me enough. To make to story short 10 years
later they still are not paying enough because he does not know how
to do the job. Update 12-17-04 He is no longer working at this
company.
This is why people go to school for a college education or go to learn
a trade
so
they are qualified when the time opens up for the job.
They are
ready for to opportunity ( chance ) when it comes. For many
years I was
an automotive mechanic, my dad was one. The physic I took in
college helped
me do my job better. It did not get me the job directly but indirect
my reputation
got me the jobs, service manager, latter managed an auto parts store.
The
two years of college also helps me do things for Christ. 2

Lack of knowledge
of Bible will not stop one from being a personal soul winner.
You don't
even have to be able to read and write. Just be Saved and know you are
secure.
1 John 5:13 . How
can you be saved and lose it if you have Eternal Life. It would not be
Eternal if
one could lose it.
Tell what is in you heart and soul. K.I.S.S. Let the Holy Spirit work.
Knowledge will
help.
Even reading and writing is easy. There are literacy councils everywhere.
I joined
a local literacy council because there was a need for certified tutors.
It
also gave me a way to meet people. The ways to meet people is the number
problem
of
a soul winner. You need contacts.
Companies
spend dollars after dollars for those contacts. Better yet customers.
A company
can not survive without a flow of customers.
A person becomes a customer when they see a need ( Sin ) for you product
( Jesus Christ)
Companies
create want,a need, and then the answer.
We
are to sell Jesus Christ to a sinful world.
Remember they don't want to hear about Hell or the Lake of Fire and Brimstone
being
for everlasting. Most People think that Hell is here on earth.
You have
to tell the bad part with compassion.
If you have to pray and practice it till real tears comes to you eyes.
They
have to see that you believe it with your heart.
Romans 8:28
1. You have To Be saved.
2. Get close to God distance
your self from sin
3. Let the Holy Spirit lead.
4. Have a plan.
5. Have written prayer list,
Claim God's promises write the promise down on paper,
Name you
prayer names and items.
6. Stay on subject of Jesus saves
. Don't get side tracked by talking about drinking,
cursing,
or church membership, the Lord Supper, and ect.. Get the Gospel to them
some how.
This is where the church comes in. If you can't personal witness
get
them to a
soul-winning Church. The object is to get the Gospel to them, It may be
there only
chance to hear it. Very few even on America's know what the Gospel
is.
Ask for what
there church believes in writing. You will be surprised.
Stay on track.
Romans 3:10 answers
all those questions they will ask. Don't
make them feel
stupid. Do it loving even it have you to tell them you are there because
you
love them and God
loves them . Romans 5:12.
7. Have that passion for souls.
If you don't have it pray for it.
1 Cor 12:7
8. Make a regular schedule and
stay on it. Write down names and addresses .
9. Carry tracts they are easy
left almost any where. If you own a business, message may be
put on sack
or in a sack , and ECT..

God gave us a nice day you have one Sir Thanks, or God Bless you.
Plus the address
of some soul winning scriptures.
10. If you get stumped or miss
one learn from it. Study to over come.
God
is with you. Remember Jesus commands it. It is God's Will No matter what
some one may say or old Satan may do to You.
11. There Is A time to talk and
A time to be silent.
Ecc 3:7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and
a time to speak;
This is one of the
reason for going in two. I didn't say if the chance comes up and you
are by yourself don't
witness. Every one you talk too can be invited to a church were
they will hear the Gospel
and an invitation given. It gets down to one thing do you real believe
there is a God, Heaven, and that your neighbors in this world are going
to Hell
( the Lake of Fire and
Brimstone ) without our Lord Jesus Christ in their hearts.
Sometime when
you go visiting the kids are noisy that is your job find a way to
keep them Quiet. You get
in a house and their Television is loud don't try to
talk over it. Talk under
it, they will keep saying what did you say and finally turn it off.
You go visit for two purposes
get them in church, a bible believing church the term I like
better is scripture church.
Next find about their
salvation. If they are a member of a church that puts
anything else with Jesus Christ.
If they are lost or a member any church they could
be lost. ( many think
being a Church member is what saved them. You must present the Gospel of
Jesus Christ to them someway, somehow. You assume they are lost. I you
witness to them
they will say things that will
let you know the state of their soul.
Don't get into
the difference in believes, that is the Devil trying to side track you.
This is not what you came for,
you came here to find out if they are saved.
If they say they know right
now that if they died now they would go to heaven.
By the uttermost one has to
get the Gospel to them with you love and compassion showing through.
Romans 3:10
or Romans 3:23 is a good place to start. If you feel the need or you
don't know the people state
of their soul. You feel the need or you wouldn't be there.
God sent you there for a reason
a purpose don't blow the chance to get the Gospel to them.
Pray for the Holy Spirit to
help Give you the words to say.
Again there is a time to talk
and a time to be silent.
You must be cunning.
Have you every watched a cat catch it's prey.
He plans his attack. He
gets in the right place for the capture. The cat after in position
patienly waits to see if its
plan works. If it doesn't work he tries another plan.
The cat never gives up.
If it is pass it means the cat moves on.
We cannot lead everyone to Jesus,
some will never be saved, We are to sow the seeds.
Mt 13:4 And when he sowed, some [seeds] fell by the way side, and the
fowls came and devoured them up:
5 Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth:
and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:
6 And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they
had no root, they withered away.
7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and
choked them:
8 But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an
hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.
9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
12. As in teaching or preaching
soul winning must be done with authority and excitement.
I am excited about Christ dying for my sins. I am thankful about Christ
saving my soul.
How about you?
Men when you buy a new suit do you take it home and put it in closet? No.
You will wear on the next occasion.
Women when you buy or make a new dress you are going to wear it.
You are not going to put it in closet.
No matter if you just gave you heart to Jesus today or years a go you have
something
inside you, you should need to tell the world.
13. If you are on their
property respect it. It is theirs.
Don't walk across their lawns They have sidewalks for walking or else they
would not have spent money to build them .
Don't lean on their house or car. Don't dirty up their house.
Make
comments about pictures, House, just find something to praise and ask kids
names.
They may after this visit be comming to church.
When their is a tie to cross on a one lane bridge let the other vehicle
go first.
This
is the Christian way. Courtesy is the name of the game.
But
the Gospel should be of the first important.
You
have to find a way to get it to them. They cannot be saved if the lost
don't hear
the Gospel. Romans 10:9-13.
This is why we need missionaries here and in the rest of the world.
14. Be yourself . Be clean
.
Not Being yourself is like lying if you get caught, it is a lie if you
don't act yourself.
If you are ashamed of being yourself do you need to change?
You have to act like a Christian 24/7.
A hypocrite Is a person that acts one way at church Sunday and another
Way
on Monday . He acts like a Christian when soul winning but acts worldly
at work.
At church on Sunday you act like a Christian but at school you are not
difference
from anyone else that is of this world.
A Christian should stand out in the crowd. Unless they are in a group of
Christians
That are saved and Christ is showing through them.
Being Clean means to be free
of the following:
1. Body odor. A person will
say a sinner prayer to get a way from you.
2. Bad breath . The same reason.
They make soap and water . There are mints.
Quit Smoking.
Usually if a person smoked just the smell will cause a reaction, eye burning
ect.
3. Don't be out of place. Be
instant in season and instant out.
4. Out of place hair. Long hair
. Hair that is not a natural color. Purple or Blue Hair Ect..
5. Badly dress. Work clothes
for work. Dress clothes ( Suits ect. ) for dress.
Casual clothes
for casual. Be yourself a Christ like person.
6. Not clean shaven. Beard and
mustache ok if kept trimmed
7. Men ear rings or nose rings
or any body rings for anybody.
These have nothing to do with salvation but the world judges by what they
believe a
Christian be and look and act. Romans 14:20.
Rom 14:21 It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor
any thing whereby thy
brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.
8. Not looking neat The first
thing people look at is neatness worn out clothes can be
neat and
Ironed.
I have
a friend that works as a mechanic for a garbage company The Lord put him
there to
witness. Moved him from Chicago IL. To Hardy AR to work for the Lord.
The pastor
prints business cards for him. He uses them to witness. To open dialog
if someone
cruses he gives the a card. This puts him on the spot also. He also
teaches a
Teens Sunday School class. My family and I were out of church.
Lets face
it we had not found a church that knew what they believed and some
preached
good sermon but did not gave an invitation. The Spirit is going to try
only
so long.
So he invited me to his Church. As a result of this mans witness
one girl's
whole family
is in church. Her Dad surrender to preach. Another Girls from the
same
class Dad
is now pastor of a church. His words are I am what you see. Moral
of story
you can be
dirty (greasy from work) and still witness. He now has added class for
new
and old converts
(members) on the churches church doctrine.
15. If you can't be there
have someone that can and wants to do it your Job in church
ready to take your place. We are to make disciples. This is not a part
time Job.
If is a full time Job. Jesus is always there. Jesus was not here today
and gone
tomorrow. Rev 1:8 ; Rev 2:18
Everyone wants the glory without doing any work.
2 Th 3:10 For even when we were with you, this we commanded you,
that if any would not work, neither should he eat.
If you take a Job in church you have to be there not only for the Job but
every time there is a service at church plus association meeting, it is
your church
not the pastor's, if possible. In you job out in the world you want last
long or
get paid much if you don't show up. Thank of all the blessing each service
you
miss God can't bless you if you are not where he wants you to be. If you
miss a
chance to witness you miss a blessing. When you are not doing God's will
blessings will be lost. Lose the joy of your salvation. Not your
salvation, the joy.
Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the
name
of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded
you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.
There is nothing in this scripture about Church. The Church is of prime
importance
in
God's work.
Heb 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as
the manner of some is;
but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching
Christ
told them to start at home then the rest of the world. More work for Christ
has been
lost because
a person got the glory then quit. The church's van ministry Had little
boy
start coming
to church this person picked him up one time. This person that drove the
van
didn't show
up back at church for eight weeks. The person never told anyone that they
were
not
going to be there for the next eight weeks.
This person just
plainly did not come to church during that time. They have never ask about
the boy.
Lucky someone realized this person had not been picked the up.
Cut the story short
six other kids are coming because of this one boy. Also this boy and three
others have
been saved. In a period of twelve weeks four of these boys where
saved.
There is also a
chance for their brothers and sister plus their parents. Update 12-17-04
One of their
parents have been saved by the Blood of Christ.
There is no end
in how many people one persons life touches.
If people would just do the mechanics of their job it is amazing what the
Holy
Spirit can do. Again If you are not going to do the job get out of
the way.
There
probability is someone that would love to do the job. It is a sin to quince
the
Holy
Spirit. If you are going to go soul winning go every week.
On
a Regular schedule. Even if you visit your neighbor during the week.
If
your Church or you cannot find one that has a visitation program get a
partner your wife,
a friend,
a new convert, or lead someone to Jesus Christ then you will have a partner.
There are some thing that assure you of contracts.
Other
things work also.
Do they meet some simple guide
lines?
Is Christ preached ? Preach means to pronounce a public discourse on a
sacred subject.
Any one can proclaim the Gospel. Personal Soul winning is just to a smaller
audience
than
a preacher.
Driving the church Van is soul winning,
Teaching is soul winning,
Being a deacon is soul winning.
Being a pastor Is soul winning,
The church Secretary is soul winning,
One that mows the grass is a soul winner and
Any church office or job.
One of the most rewarding is work with Teens and younger.
1 Cor 12:6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same
God which worketh all in all.
7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every
man to profit withal.
16. A Child of God can
do more than they think for God.
There
is this Older Lady, 80 plus years, She is in the church every time
the doors are open.
Don't
Give her the phone number of someone that needs calling she'll call
them.
Every one that she knows,
knows the church she attends and is a member.
There seems to be a trend of Pastors not wanting members. Wonder why?
There is two seniors center
in our area, towns fourteen miles apart.
She goes on all of their trips.
If the trips are not
used they lose them. There are people in better health
that don't even go to
church. God gave you the gas money and health to go to
work for him after
salvation.
One could lose all so
that you as a Christian want (can't) go where you aren't suppose to be.
17. Again their house
is their house. Even if it is a tent on the bank of the Mississippi river.
Key to the Following verse is lost sheep of the house of Israel only and
preach the
kingdom of Heaven is at hand. But in technique it applies to today.
Mat 10:6 But go rather
to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils:
freely ye have received, freely give.
9 Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses,
10 Nor scrip for [your] journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor
yet
staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.
11 And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is
worthy; and there abide till ye go thence.
12 And when ye come into an house, salute it.
13 And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be
not
worthy, let your peace return to you.
Respect maybe all they have.
You primary reason
is to get them saved or restore to the service of our lord.
Don't argue religious
Matters even if they have Devil worship every where.
You came there to tell
the Gospel. If they will not listen leave.
If there
are signs with four letters on them on doors or walls they usually already
feel
bad. Don't
rub it in, you came for one of three reasons:
1. They are lost and
need the Saviour.
You
came their to lead them to the Lord.
2. They are out of church, they
are backslidden. You can't deal with them if you make them
feel like the church doesn't want them, or the feel uncomfortable.
You
want them in church so the Word of God can deal with them. You cannot deal
with them only the Spirit thought the Word Of God can convict them.
I did
not say comprise. I did not say lie.
There is a time to speak and a time to be silent. At a revival last
year the
preacher told a story back when he first came to the church, a country
church
with attendance close to one hundred in Sunday School.
He found this young man on the church records that was not coming to
church. He did what he should do ( the mechanic of soul winning ) go
see why. The boy had backslidden Beer cans everywhere. He didn't
jump him about the beer cans, or call for the church to discipline him.
This Pastor had compassion, the soul already knew where he needed
to be.
He quit drinking and is back in church where the Lord can work with
him and
use him.
Remember you are here to get them back in church. We are to teach not to
be
critical. The power of the Word of God is that it convicts without
preaching at
or knowing about the persons sin. I didn't say not to call sin by its name
we should call sin, sin. There is a time to speak and a time to be silent.
3. They are sick or homebound
and need prayer. Remember someone may
be
watching. Show compassion.
A friends mother attended a church. She was at home sick missed church
because she was to sick to go. The preachers wife came by not because
my friends
mother was sick. The wife of the preacher wanted one thing her tithe.
The pastor's wife didn't ask how his mother felt or even offer a prayer.
The church is not there any more. Pastor and his wife gone.
Coming by to get the tithe maybe ok if his mom had wanted that.
The Pastor's Wife could have ask or given prayer. Were was the pastor.
People need to hear that other people are praying for them, at times they
need to
hear the prayers.
This is witnessing.
18. Pray for you to notice
opportunities to witness. That flat tire, Getting lost,
Getting stuck in a slow check out lane, going to Doctors office, Having
to go to
court house, and many other things that seem to get in the way of life.
This may be the only time you will ever meet that person. That is what
is so great
about the Lords work. This is the way it works. You'll find out ten, twenty,
thirty, or forty years what effect you had on introducing them to Jesus
Christ
our Lord And Saviour.
19. Who maybe watching
I don't mean God.
My Pastor and his Wife are very compassionate people.
One must always be ready. Instant in season and out of season.
He tells a story of a time he was working on his car. The job he was doing
resulted in him hitting his finger with a hammer. After he hit his finger
he raise
up to turn around to doctor it, there stood his neighbor.
My Pastor had never said a word when he hurt his finger. The neighbor
said I always want
to see what a Preacher would say when that happen.
Be careful who maybe watching.
20. It would be nice if all Churches
and Christians Put Christ work first.
There purpose is to further the gospel. Preach Christ at all cost.
If you are afraid of what people will thank or do to you Then you need
to get
another God. Have you ever read two good books to read The Trail
of Blood
and
Fox's Book Of Martyrs.
A. We visited a church one Saturday , The church had a Fair like program
games
and a stage show with Jugglers who told the story of Christ.
That was very good. They had put a lot of time and though into the program
even sent out invitations in the mail bulk rate, Postal Patron.
The kids, lots of visitors, Christ was preached. All of that is ok
.
The following Sunday night they had lost their first love.
It was all know before Saturday Their pastor was leaving.
The whole night's service was spent praising Their pastor that was leaving.
The moderator Ask how many had been Baptized, I though they should
have asked how many were saved.
Christ was never mention. None of the Pastor's work and fame would have
happen if it had not for Christ. What is sad is that he prayed and
prayed for God's will
before he took the call to this church. Even the people of the church are
looking at him
instead of looking to Jesus Christ. This may be why he left.
To get to the point remember why you are soul winning, teaching, ect.
Christ is the reason. The whole purpose is to win souls, lead souls to
Jesus Christ,
make them disciples of Christ, AKA Soul-winners.
The whole purpose for us is to give God the Glory.
21. Next we need some ways to
soul win.
A. Some Churches use a special night for singing. They then close with
the
Gospel and an invitation
B. A special Christian's Children Fair or Circus with or without animals.
C. A revival Any chance to invite people to church.
D. A Van Or Bus Ministry
E. Vacation Bible School.
F. Have a Tract ministry. If Church doesn't approve put you name, Address
and phone number on them. This way you can tract the progress.
Tracts are great for time that nothing else works.
Some will read when no one listening or watching.
A man once during WW II by a sign in Times Square came under conviction.
The sign said JESUS SAVES.
a. Tracts can be left almost any where. Mail boxes are for U S Mail service
only
ECT.
b. They are great for door knocking, canvassing, And surveys.
c. Great for starting a conversation. Better called an opener.
G. There have been kids saved at a skating party. Gospel was told.
Invitation was given.
H. Do personal soul winning.
Just tell the story Of Jesus Saving Power.
I. Buy Locally they are your neighbors.
J. Notice houses that are empty they may be full some day
K. Toys in yard means Children.
L. Mass mailing .
M. People broken down on the Highways. Use caution.
N. Halloween Great Chance For Kids to pass put Tracts.
O. Prisons
P. Hospital - There are laws that apply
Q. Nursing Homes. Singing - Preaching Services.
R. Kids have friends at school, These Kids have parents.
S. Any where you can meet people. I have witnessed at a convince store.
T. As always Know your local laws. About going door to door.
